You can set yourself on fire, just don't injure anyone else (or destroy someone else's property).

Cancer is a bitch man, hang in there. I got treated for eye cancer last year and Ill probably go blind in the affected eye eventually due to radiation damage. Ill have to have MRIs and X-rays of my organs for the rest of my life too, to make sure it hasnt spread.

Hopefully you have a really good oncologist or have access to one of the top cancer treatment centers. Glad you have good insurance though, mine is terrible and its been pretty draining financially. Especially the MRIs, they run me about $2k every six months.

Just get an audio/video receiver with all the connectors, and a good set of speakers. Then you'll have enough inputs for everything and better sound too.

BK burgers have this sort of leftover burnt stuff on the grill taste. I much rather grab a Whataburger or Smashburger. Or better yet, Five Guys.

Paying off my house, then I can pretty much semi-retire and just take contract work that actually interests me rather then work a full-time job. Still have a long time for that though, I still owe about $95K on my mortgage.

My property taxes are nearly as much as my mortgage, so I'll never be "free" from the house burden. But yeah, it will be nice to get the principal paid off.

I'll feel accomplished once my daughter gets through college, finds a job, gets out on her own and becomes a productive citizen. Of course she's only 6 now so it's going to be a while!

I only keep cash to pay the lady who cleans my house. Other than that, I have no use for it. Everything goes on the credit cards that get paid in full every month automatically, and I get the rewards points.

Eye cancer is on the rise. I suspect it has something to do with human attachment to screens, but who knows. It could be more UV rays getting through the atmosphere or something. I was treated for ocular melanoma last year, so it's interesting to see how much more common it's becoming. Some articles about it:

I did that once on a nest of baby bunnies. It didn't hurt them but the next day there were blood trails everywhere and they were gone. Cat or something must have gotten them overnight.
