A Colorado police officer who shot and killed a 73-year-old veteran who was protecting his family from an invader in his home will not face criminal charges, a district attorney announced Monday as body camera footage of the shooting was released.

Richard "Gary" Black Jr. was fatally shot three times by Officer Drew Limbaugh, one of the Aurora Police Department officers who responded to reports of a violent break-in at a home on July 30.

Another good guy just using his weapon for protection shot by the people he called to help him. I mean on one hand the couldnt know who was who upon arriving, on the other hand people keep saying more good guys, self defense etc...so what was the old man to do? Vigilante justice and not call the cops? Maybe we should start considering better options both ways?

Hmm...completely justifiable. The officer gave verbal commands and even repeated himself for the guy to drop his gun. Can't even argue with thugs like this who conduct mass shootings daily. There are the majority of the population and commit 90% of the mass shootings.

In recent (maybe more) months there has been a rash of crime that springs out in America as political. You got the MAGAbomber and the Synagogue that was hit from people identified as far-right. However on the news (foxnews) they keep blaming the left (not just far-left) for these crimes.

My question to you all is why does the right keep blaming things on the left when it's clearly the far-right that's doing this?

MIAMI - Two former Biscayne Park, Fla., police officers pleaded guilty Friday to framing an innocent teenager with a string of home burglaries at the direction of the chief so his department could boast a perfect property crime-solving record.

The officers, Charlie Dayoub, 38, and Raul Fernandez, 62, admitted they falsified arrest affidavits for the 16-year-old black suspect for four unsolved break-ins in June 2013, a month before then-police chief Raimundo Atesiano touted the town's 100 percent burglary clearance record at a village commission meeting.

The town reported clearing 29 of 30 burglary cases during Atesiano's tenure as chief in 2013 and 2014. But now that seemingly outstanding record has been refuted by the fact that at least 11 of those cases were based on false arrest reports, according to federal authorities.

"If they have burglaries that are open cases that are not solved yet, if you see anybody black walking through our streets and they have somewhat of a record, arrest them so we can pin them for all the burglaries," one cop said in an internal probe ordered in 2014. "They were basically doing this to have a 100 percent clearance rate for the city."

Fucking welp.
