Im not sure I can really describe what makes some books so addicting. It has to do with how completely they immerse me in another world. I dont exist anymore.

Technically you do control all the characters in FF 13 with the paradigm shift. You tell the other characters what type of strategy you want them to take

Yeah, but you don't necessarily pick a specific skill to use at a specific time. It unnecessarily dumbs down the game.

You micro the main instead of the party.

Unless there is another FF where you are using up to 6 abilities a round across your party, and Im not remembering it.

XIII has a great combat system that the game couldnt utilize effectively.

We're not counting how many spells used in around. We're talking about the variety of spells, attacks, etc that you can unlock and micromanage in the battle system.

No you arent, and it would still be a questionable take if you were. Ability selection isnt an issue in XIII, especially considering that debuffing is functional unlike most FFs, and SEN abilities mostly dont even exist.

Theres still a lot of room for improvement, of course.

I think Bush will be remebered as a better leader, but I wouldnt be surprised if the overall impact of Bushs policies ends up being worse than Trumps.

Trump still has time to change that, though.

Ive just been hoarding my gold. My preference is to draft. I went into a Guilds of Ravnica draft blind and didnt do as well as I would have liked. Just havent had the motivation to do the prep work for success.

Havent crafted any cards either. I dont want to commit to anything.

Math is an easy second major with physics. I ended up doing a math minor with my physics major, and found my analysis courses to be wonderful.

It really depends on your end goal, though. Physics is a good major for progressing to graduates studies and becoming a theoretician, and the math courses will help a lot with that. You mentioned some engineering courses, but I dont really understand the point of the physics major if you are doing an engineering program. It would give you a better career path, but then you should just pair engineering with something practical. Physics is a really narrow major practically.

Dont consider anything outside of STEM.

That one part in FFT.

It probably isnt that bad, except the inability to leave without a save before the sequence starts. That makes it one of the worst.

Just keep in mind that as a physics major you can only really work in your field if you do graduate studies.

Thats not to say you cant find jobs, but dont expect it to have much to do with physics. Something in engineering would more directly correlate to a position in the workforce.

As far as physics advice goes, I recommend reading ahead in your textbook prior to lecture. They can get pretty dense, so it helps to have an idea of the topic, even if the chapter wasnt totally clear at first.

Also, find some classmates to work with on homework. Those will also likely get very involved, and you will eventually hit a point where you have to try fairly hard.

Dont be afraid to go for office hours if you have questions.

I made the mistake of telling them I moved when I first left home. It didnt go well.

My dad and I have the same name, so I wanted them to send the stuff addressed to Address A to Address A and the stuff addressed to Address B to Address B. They looked at me like I was nuts.
