oh, of course they have hate crimes against them. the fact that you consider that as proof that they shouldn't be trans is baffling to me.

the fact that you sounded like you denied that baffled me. the fact that its a permanent change is what im against. personally i got really annoyed at that agdq where they had a lot of trans on and tried to act like it was normal, and banned anyone who spoke against it. I've also seen people speaking against trans be banned for hate speech, so witnessing events like these is what made me say this, if that helps clear it up

and the reason i dont say anything is because i have a history of arguing non-sense and not being able to express my thoughts at all, and i think it makes me look like an insensitive asshole (hence why im practicing on this dead message board) so i just avoid anything to do with that issue. just being internally annoyed/dissapointed

I've never met a trans person who was an asshole and attacked other people for how they feel. Whereas we have a lot of people attacking trans people, claiming they desire attention. Bull ****ing ****. Try to understand the complexity behind these issues. Transsexuality is not an illness. If you try to cure an illness, it works. People have been trying to cure the homosexuals and trans people for years, and does it work??? NO, they KILL themselves. and yeah im not denying people post op feel better from surgery, but i think its a permanant solution to a temporary problem, and also they are also creating more problems for the rest of their lives. since transgenders arent accepted in society yet they will have a lot of problems fitting into society, be looked down upon, even be a nuisance to others. to put it bluntly if someone is willing to make a permanent change to themselves knowing these consequences, or even not knowing these consequences because they didnt do the research, i have absolutely no respect for them at all. not sure if its an equivalent example, but I wouldn't chop off my leg to cure my social anxiety, autism, and adhd, which has caused me so many problems in life. I view it as the same

in a country like thailand where being trans is culturally accepted and even considered the third gender i have absolutely no problem with it, but alas we live in the now
