Only problem with streamed content is how compressed the audio is. Even the big 4k HDR streams on netflix sound like garbage on my system compared to 4k bluray discs played through my Oppo 203.

Best Buy is still in business because they invest in training. The thing Best Buy has over competition is their sales team. All employees are required to go to vender shows and do a constant stream of learnings narrated by various vendors like intel and popular you tubers (Linuss group from linustechtips being in a lot of them) as well as a price match guarantee so the store can give something to the customer an online storefront like amazon cannot.

I work on commission out of Best Buys magnolia Design center which sells luxury audio/video products. I went to corporate headquarters for a month (200 or so hours) of training and vender shows before I was in the store.

Is chipotle considered fast food? If so every day granted I make sure to choose healthier menu options. (Bowls instead of burritos, no sour cream or queso. No chips etc).

I drink zero energy drinks and soda but my coffee intake is nuts. Im at about three large coffees from Dunkin Donuts/Starbucks a day plus 3-4 k cup coffees.

College fucked me with caffeine intake and my work has made it worse. But at least Ive stopped the caffeine pills.

Soap opera effect. Any good TV will have settings to prevent this. Essentially you want to turn off anything that says, "Smooth motion" in the settings and make sure the TV isn't on vivid to avoid it.

These comparisons always suck when presented like that. Anyone on the planet can tell the difference in person because the PS4 Pro is being rendered at a variable framerate between 1440p and 4k and the PS4 original is being rendered between 720p and 1080p. But you won't see that in a youtube video side by side.

If you have a good 4k TV you should have a pro already.

Anyone looking into Japanese should look into some of the Kanji learning tools out there. A lot of people swear by remembering the kanji but I'm a big fan of wanikani. Starts really slow but begins to ramp up very quickly. Uses SRS to ensure you learn and more importantly remember 2000 or so Kanji and 6000 or so words.

I'm currently working through that and the core 10k anki deck.

I played for the first time in four years the other day and got placed in the middle of Platinum by massing roach hydra and pushing like I did back in hots. Never really played LOV but my build orders from HOTS seemed mostly still viable with tweaks (Granted I was masters way back when). Everything is just so fast now, that's the thing that took me most by surprise. You can expand so much faster now.

You can still sleep your way into diamond by just massing roach hydra as Zerg with decent enough macro.

Do you also have a 7.1 or atmos setup?

My system is a 7.1.2 and Ready Play One blew my fucking mind with both the audio and visual feast that was the 4k HDR disk.

Other good movies to grab are The Fifth Element, Game of Thrones Season 1, the rest of the marvel movies, the harry potter films and wonder woman.

Blade Runner 2049 is a must have if you have an audio system.

90% of the mods out there exist to make the game look better and remove bugs. None of those would be required anymore if they updated the engine to something modern.

The Witcher 3 came out before Fallout 4. Think about that.


Way less of a need for mods if your game looks that good out of the box.



Only mods you'd have at that point would be quest mods and gameplay overhauls/rebalances.

Dragon Age origins was good at the time but doesn't hold up at all. Stupidly boring game now with a story that's done better elseware and awful combat.

Dragon Age Kirkwall is garbage.

Dragon Age Inquisition has a good game buried underneath mandatory amounts of frivulous side quests. (Complete X number of things to access the next main quest).

I loved Origins when it came out but tried playing it last year and found it excessively boring. Meanwhile I'm ripping through kotor right now and loving it.

First mod I installed replaces Juhani with Yuthura from Korriban. Now when you turn her lightside you can recruit her on Dantooine and she takes the place of Juhani

In Jade Empire you can use magic (by killing a magical dragon that has been forced to bleed magical water for years) to force several of your party members to be your slave and you force them to do evil things. Eventually they break free and you kill them.

I remember that, thats how you get the hidden party member.
