I see you don't show much understanding of that which you ask. The transition isn't to change gender, and thusly is not limited to your ideal of a construct. The transition is to change the body to the gender that the trans person already identifies with, so the transition itself is a very physical event.

This topic is dumb, because each of the letters is different from each other anyways. There will always be differences. What you are really saying with this topic is that you don't like T and don't want others to connect you with it. That is actually quite similar to the struggle that T has, so maybe you have more in common with it than you think, because T just doesn't want to be associated with their original gender either.

This topic's view is ultimately simplistic, there are still huge overlaps in the problems. As a trans woman, I still face a stupid number of people that view any relationship as a gay one. See any overlap yet? There really isn't much of a winning to it. Also don't get treated like a guy either so in the end it just makes convinces me that the real problem is that people just have no real chill or idea what the heck to do with those that don't fit into convenient boxes.

When I went to my home doctor for a checkup right after I got back, the nurses thought it had been a labiaplasty(basically a cosmetic reshaping of the outside appearance) and not a full surgery from the visual of it. They ended up being a bit surprised by the doctor.

You are asleep during the process. The worst of it (to me) was laying in bed and not being able to get up for two days. I can't stand laying on my back.

Actually, I technically wasn't put asleep. I was given a combination of spinal epidural and an injection to make me loopy. I don't remember it though, so I guess I dissociated it entirely. They actually had us up and walking around at least a little each day. Once the first day, and then three times on the second. Third day we got moved to a care facility, where I basically did a few laps a day up and down the stairs and stuff to get my legs back.

As time goes on you don't have to do it as often to keep it from closing up much. The entire system was actually designed for women with hysterectomies who had the same problem and it is functionally similar a year after surgery, namely that if you are sexually active at least once a week it isn't something you really need to worry about, but if you are not you should do it at least that often in lieu of it.

It doesn't stay loose. It needs to be extended fully open each day for a while to train the body to not close in on the space. It actually gets pretty tight between sessions.

Actually, I started on the orange one. They said to start on the hardest and dial it back as you need to. This is because the stint they used to seal it for the first 4 days was the same size as the orange, so it was already used to being that size. I had to go back to the green after a few days with some minor swelling going on. The instructions for lengths of dilation I just modified to have more intensity than they originally said since it never really hurt, and it worked out fine so I guess it was a good choice.

Depends on the person, but I find tufts of chest hair to be fun. Otherwise it just comes down to if they keep reasonably in shape or not. There is no real reason for anyone to become a sloth.
