My pictures, the frames were falling off of them and my whole room was backwards since all my outlets were on the window side of the room. So I took a trip to menards, got a few things and flipped my gaming room around, fixed my pictures and added some more gaudy RGB because.. cool.

The other half of my gaming room which is pretty bare (where i'm standing to take the pictures) I would like to be where I setup eventually an oculus or vibe VR area with the sensors and ceiling anchors for the cords, whenever I get around to getting a vibe or oculus.

Well that was my point. They didn't get the senate because they screwed themselves over. Things could have been very different. Their dumb actions likely led to increased conservative voters and more moderates leaning towards conservatives instead.

They might have gotten both House and Senate, but they really hurt themselves. One with all the extreme talk and promotion of harassing people in public settings. Childishly promoting people get into mobs and harass those that disagree with them in public areas, restaurants and such. Just shy of promoting actual violence. Giving in to that outrage culture mentality is not a way to win the votes of mentally stable moderates.

Then that Kavanaugh persecution. He was not a person I would have wanted on the Supreme Court, but it was vividly clear it was never a fight that was winnable. Republicans were getting one of their people in there, that was never going to change, Dems should have spent their energies elsewhere, focusing on getting more moderates to vote Democrat but no.. they chose to drag their feet and throw the potential victim under the bus and ruin her life, even though she never wanted it to go public, then they had to go after Kavanaugh with no actual proof just he said/she said and try to ruin his life and career. It really brought out the worst in Dems and reeked of desperation and I feel they lost a good number of moderates and motivated more conservatives to go out and vote.

As a liberal independent it's quite frustrating watching Dems fumble the ball time and time again. With nearly 2 years of the Trump Era, this should have been easy. This should have been so easy.

If you hate your job, you picked the wrong major or, at the very least, the wrong profession.

You say that as if most people pick and work their dream jobs. I would say the majority of the 1st world works the jobs they can get to make ends meet and get by. Only a lucky minority get a "career" they enjoy and even smaller few get their absolute dream careers where it doesn't even feel like work to them. Most of us slave away at something we'd rather not be doing to make that money that allows them to live and HOPEFULLY let them afford to do things they enjoy on their off time. But most people work a job and it's simply work.



Now on top of that for myself I never did come to any realization on what I wanted to do in life what I wanted to be, never discovered a definitive passion for a "career". I tried to be logical and pick something I figured would be useful and that didn't work out so now at 37 years of age I just do what I can to try and pay the bills. So I have "jobs" that I work at till they eventually lay me off (because company loyalty is no longer a thing these days they'll let you go without a second thought) and then go find another and I have no delusions that it will change. I can only always hope that my current job doesn't go sour and I have a stable rut I can find myself in.

For me I would probably in no particular order and probably most of which simultaneously.

- Immediately look at paying off my long standing debt. Student loans, medical bills, random stuff that may be on my credit report, pay off my vehicle..etc. I would quickly get rid of everything I owed to finally get that out of my life and wipe the slate clean.

- I would include my parents in that above process as well squaring away their debt. Making sure they are setup for the rest of their lives.

- Once the money had shown up I would definitely quit my job, I've never liked working never wanted to and once i had enough money, I wouldn't work a day longer than I had to. I know some people like to work and would at least change jobs to something they dream to do, but I...I would quit and never look back.

- Next thing I would do is look into getting into a new vehicle and house. I'm not after something crazy at all, I've never been a person that wants a mansion and a lambo or something. With this would be relocating. I would probably move back to the west side of the country some place with dry climate but not super expensive to live. Maybe somewhere in Nevada or something. I don't need anything massive really. So i'm thinking a 3bdrm 2bath w/basement which I would renovate from top to bottom to be a very digital/connected home, and a Tesla solar roof. I've always wanted one of those very precisely temp controlled showers with the water coming from like the 3 sides and the top. One of the 3 bedrooms would be converted into my gaming den. Something superior to my current gaming den. Car wise I would probably keep with the Tesla package and get one of their vehicles I think they have some new ones down the pipeline.

- Next I would work on my health, getting into doctors, dentists..etc. getting full work ups spending the money rich people can spend to get the best care. And being a bit vain and getting some stuff done like laser eye surgery..etc. Oh an the vasectomy I always wanted, now more important than ever..considering the next thing...

- If I hadn't found some hawt gold digger by this time then I'd probably take a nice VIP vacation to some ranch out in Nevada for some play time every so often. Though I imagine they'd sniffed the money mere days after I get it so I'll probably not have to worry about that.

And this would be it, I would spend my days enjoying the things I love to do, gaming, shows, movies hopefully lots of sex. With access to afford variety of foods I would be more apt to eat healthier and with everything to live for at this point would work to exercise and get fit and keep fit. I doubt I'd travel much, I'd probably invite old friends over for get togethers and stuff from time to time.

I know people are "if I was a millionaire I would do this crazy thing or that crazy thing" But in all seriousness what would you do?

First off you will not have anywhere close to the total amount. First you have to choose which option you want the like 20 year payout option or the cash out immediate option. Most people take the more immediate option. Which cuts the total amount you get way up then you have to pay massive federal and state taxes (state depending on which state you live in) out of that Billion dollars from last night if you did the quick payout option after taxes you are looking at maybe 25-30% of that money really

He was clearly avoiding questions and answering questions purposely vaguely and flat out lied when he tried to tell them that a Devil's triangle was a drinking game, it's a name of a three way (2 men and a woman)

Do you seriously want to put someone who at his current age is lying his ass off.. nominate him to the supreme court for life. This guy is a horrible human being.

I call complete and utter bullshit on her story. You walk into a home that's not yours it will smell different, look different, you would know immediately even if someone else was standing there. I actually fully believe her when she said she thought she was white and either way that comparison doesn't actually mean it would be meant in a racist way. My mother used to call Bush a Chimpanzee, she swore he looked like one and at least I think Bush is a white guy lol. I think this whole ordeal is just ridiculous. I think Roseanne has always been... well.. she's a tad nutty. :) This is what made her funny. She was always rather edgy and was not a stranger to controversy or drama; the issues with Tom Arnold, the National Anthem debacle, her pregnancy...etc..

That is just her and people loved her show and her for it in the late 80s/90s but in todays outrage culture, and especially with her being a Trump supporter, people were probably reviewing everything she did or said waiting for anything to jump on. To ruin her and cause a scene. I don't think any of these people are actually truly offended I think these people love getting off to watching someones life tank. I think they like seeing other suffer to make themselves feel better.

It's become so easy to ruin people now with little to nothing, companies are so scared of the outrage culture they are dropping relatives of people that say stuff now.

One late night ambien loaded tweet destroyed her legacy... something like that shouldn't be a thing.

I don't know the statistics or numbers of cancer as a whole, do you think a higher and higher percentage of the population is getting some form of it?

This year my mom was diagnosed with a type of throat cancer, weeks of hell with radiation and chemo and thankfully I can wonderfully say they got it, her latest scan shows the cancer is 100% gone. Hopefully it stays gone.

It's just been a matter of weeks and now my boss at work, she just got diagnosed with a form of breast cancer. Hasn't made it to her lymph nodes but the mass is large at 5cm.

Like seriously.. stop it nature...

I dunno just seems like everyone is getting cancer at some point in their lives theses days. Do you think its more than it used to be (percentage of population wise)? If so do yo think it's something man-made? As in if we lived a more natural existence there wouldn't be as much cancer, its being caused by things we do/create/change/manipulate.

Thunderstorms are moving in here soon, my grass is overdue for mowing. Once it starts raining I can't mow the rest of the day. After this front moves through, tomorrow is going to be drastically hot and humid and I'm not mowing in 90 degree temps with heat indexes up to 100. So if I'm going to mow the time is now.

Is 8am too early to mow?
