If scum has an unblockable shot, which they usually do, mason recruiting Tony is more useful than a futile doc save. Then Tony dies and you still get a N1 result perhaps and Tony's voice/confirmation.

If they don't have an unblockable kill, they probably wouldn't shoot the watcher blindly N1.

So I don't see which scenario a one use doc save is more useful than a mason recruit.

If Puns had info, he would have made me claim first. If you read last night he's just being glib when talking to Ben, then when everyone took him at face value decided to roll with it and double down. He's so obviously lying that I get mad every time I click on this topic. It sickens me.

Scare took back his claim a long time ago.

I've already mentioned a real tracker would never claim there, Panthera just fell for it.

You know how this goes, Death. A vanilla claim accomplishes nothing, I'll have to full claim eventually but I still have to try. Puns will probably say "oops it was just a bluff but seriously you guys Leo was super scummy!!!" but until then he'll pretend he actually has info while people make douchebaggy comments to discourage me from putting in a lot of wasted effort. I learned last game that people will always just follow a scan regardless of how obviously fake it is or how much effort the victim puts in.

Especially since it's long since been established that Scare took back his claim of any sort of scan, and Panthera just blew it on his reaction.

Leo isn't claiming to try to play us and draw the day towards him instead of towards Panthera, if I had to guess.

I'd believe Puns too if he wasn't claiming an action I knew was 100% impossible.

If I have to fight against fucking fake scans two games in a row I'm going to be really pissed. Puns did not track me. I did not visit Plum. I visited someone else, which would be obviously to anyone with half a brain. Get it? Puns is overzealous town who thinks I'm scum but doesn't have a good convincing reason, so he's faking a scan, or he's scum emulating that zealousness because Puns is the best scum player here and capable of faking his town approach.

I'm not claiming because of the world's most obvious bluff and people who are voting me solely for that are likely scum for it. Puns sure is doing a hell of a job of outing power on a day where we have a real scum scan from Scare! Did I lack bite in Blade Mafia?! (I was scum and I did not). Yeesh.

No it doesn't. If Panthera bought Pun's obvious fake scan despite saying he bought Scare's identical claim that's a pretty big "uh what"

Panthera was only able to be counterclaimed because he claimed when Scare hinted he was a tracker, which made him instantly panic claim that he visited Tony, at which point Scare brought the hammer down. Beyond just being counterclaimed, it turned out Scare had a guilty scan all along, so props to getting under Panthera's skin like that but still. Could have waited longer than literally ten minutes into the day.

I'm really, really getting sick of driving and living in the north pole. I'm caught up now on the whole topic and a half I missed. Luckily, it doesn't seem like it mattered because I can guarantee you that Alakzam is not watcher. The CRUSADE plan would have worked better if people had done literally anything to progress it when it when I was gone. I admit I didn't think I'd have to personally whip every single vote. Puns, Han, Death, why didn't you actually whip votes on Plum? It makes it feel like your votes were entirely for show and not in support of our glorious inquisition! Interesting. A Plum defense force has started crawling out. It's "interesting" because what kind of Town doesn't want to see where this goes? People should be thrilled that they're gonna get sweet info but here people are trying to kill it before it even begins. Very sunny to suppress info this early. And don't be fooled, they're voting me, but it's because they don't like me going after Plum. I mean, the time to vote me would be if Plum turned out to be super towny and I was bring suspicious.

But this early? For trying to make something happen? Do not like.

Wow, I'm more persuasive than I thought if Death is going to vote before the very last minute of a day. See, this crusade is already providing delicious information acorns for town squirrels to munch on. And I guess Puns was serious so maybe this isn't even making a mountain out of a molehill.

Plenty of room on the wagon. Don't be shy, hop on! This is a 22 player game, four people is a tiny drop in the bucket. If Plum is scum, he gets ignored until he single handedly wins the game. He's a dangerous scum because he has no scruples. He tugged my heartstrings once and RIPPED MY HEART OUT in Visual Novel Mafia 2. And if he does well, he's a formidable town player two. He's a "good analysis, poor charisma" type player. So going after him first is win/win.

I will join this crusade against people who don't get obvious jokes.

Here's my philosophy after reading the last couple games - we need to go deep on each and every player. Maybe not the obv-town ones, but I say the way people become obv-town is by surviving such a pressure cooker. Because those last few games? They sucked. They had votals of like 2-2-2-2 for a solid 48 hours, so it was incredibly easy for scum to make every day a town-town lynch. I know because I was that scum. It was an easy win but so, so boring. Town just stopped playing the last few games, so can you even call it a win?

ANYWAY. We need ridiculous trains and violent fights. We need people to get more than 2 votals in a 22 person game without people clutching their pearls and going HOLY FUCKFRITTERS IT'S A MAFIA TRAINNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!. Will people claim? Maybe. They'll prove themselves town one way or another, or die.

So join Plum. It's arbitrary. It's based on nothing. That's the point. I'm sick of timid towns complaining that Day One sucks because there's no content to analyze. This is how you GET content! You try to kill someone as hard as you can, and see how they react, or how other people react. Plum should be honored that he gets the spotlight shone on him first. We make a mountain out of a molehill until we find the real mountain. This is fine. Healthy.

In conclusion, vote Plum because I'm going to be driving north for all of Saturday and I want to come back to an entertaining game state and he's obvious scum.

Well now they're clearly just trying to separate themselves because they're clearly both scum out to get me.

It's going to be really relaxing to not have to read nothing but flavour meta, or have someone get an unwinnable indie role, and if I'm town it's even more relaxing to know for sure how many scum there are.
