So, then what's the point? If, I have to give the whole text - then I guess I am paying the Graphic Designer for the design - but what about the Marketing department? What's their role? I get your point about missing information/wanting to add more - but isn't that their job? If I could come up with the content - then all I would be missing is a design... which plenty of free template exist. and tools that will built it for you (campaign monitor/EmailChimp/Constant Contact) I am REALLY asking here. --- |

If a Product Manager wanted to make an email campaign about a product - how much does the Product Manager have to be involved in the making of the email campaign? Should the Product Manager give all the content (text, images and an idea of a template [such as examples]) or just give the main idea of the email campaign while the Marketing department finds all the information and the graphic design comes up with it? Thursday morning comes, and he never calls or nothing. I send him a message via Linkedin in the afternoon asking if he was still available and he has still not replayed. Should I email him a second time? Or just chill? It's not like I need a job, but I would definitely switch somewhere else for more money, so I am 100% interested in listening to the offer. --- |
