Aeris hasn't weakened since 2006 (arguably), just like Tifa.

Zelda's x-stat is probably somewhere around 40% (or a little above that) which is high enough to potentially threaten lower Noble Niners like Sonic or Crono, but probably not someone like Snake or Mario.

Aeris performed under expectations on waluigi by a good bit

She didnt destroy Zelda when she had a bracket LITERALLY designed solely to give her a Championship, and that was a much weaker Zelda and probably a stronger Samus.

Yes, and it was also probably one of Samus's weakest years, even if she did end up winning the main bracket. Remember, aside from Missingno beating Crono, which was a 12-hour match with obvious rallying, only once has a Noble Niner failed to break 50.5% on a non-Noble Niner, and that's Samus in 2006 against Tifa.

Honestly, I'd be more scared of Tifa beating Samus than of Zelda doing so!

Hmm Idk I still think the picture played a large part in the 2k6 match.

It's hard to go against Chrono Trigger, but it's a silent hero vs. a giant turtle who is in modern games, maybe has a Rule 34 boost, and is unofficially transgender now.

Crono whooped Bowser 57-43ish last time, but now bowser has smash hype and odyssey hype. It will be closer assuming Crono didn't boost.

Zelda in 2k6 was arguably her strongest(aside from maybe now) when she had Twilight Princess Hype. Samus only struggled against Tifa, and that definitely could have been due to the Zero Suit Samus picture. I think Samus wins. I also think Samus will get the SFF votes in her favor. I am still not convinced Zelda > Sonic either because I do think a lot of final fantasy characters fell off hard.. look at vincent.

Zelda only did 5-6% better on Aeris than in 2k6. Aeris has more than likely weakened since then.. maybe a lot. Though, you could be right.. that 6% would make it a 50-50 with Samus 2k6. That's assuming she boosted that much and Aeris didn't plummet off a cliff.

Not declined but most other noble ninety got stronger. Since 04 snake and Mario are definitely stronger.

exactly but not megaman. hes remained about the same or steadily declined like crono did. After sonic beat crono megaman should have been seen as the weakest.

Nah I think MM is safe. Hes had some games recently and well received ones.

Sonic is the one Im questioning.

Snake has had a past where hes looked True Elite. 2008 2010 and 2013.

Whatever his popularity is now hes had a history of being in finals and semi finals. I cant say the same for sonic or mega man. Theyre easily the two weakest N9s but Ill give MM a pass due to his recent well received games.

I do think theyre the two weakest but I cant shake the fact that mmx has usually seemed stronger. according to the 2013 xstats sonic and mm are dead even with megaman barely winning. same as it was in 2k5. I have to say sonic has really never declined. He almost beat samus in 2k2 but it was before prime and her boost. Since then hes beat bowser kirby tifa vincent crono etc. MM has declined a bit in comparison.
