The obsession with nice shoes is so dumb. I almost never look at anyone's feet or notice what shoes they're wearing.

I guess it comes from a culture of poverty where "if the things that touch the dirty ground are expensive, you must really be rich!" Only way I can possibly understand the origins of all this.

Basketball shoes though, they make a lot more sense. If you really love basketball then you'll want to incorporate basketball attire into your regular wardrobe. It's more about having a connection to the sport than just the obsession of shoes alone.

I believe shoes are the most important part of the outfit. That is actually the first thing I look at. You can tell alot about someone just by looking at the shoes they wear

So it appears my laptop is on its last leg and I need a new one. I dont game on here much but I play a lot of skyrim and rocket league, the most modern games I play on xbox. So my question is what do you recommend for a graphics card these days, pretty sure mine is obsolete lol? This laptop has an i7 with a Nvidia GTX 850.

If you dont like it than fine but you gotta respect it. I see people who collect anime figurines and I think it is pretty dumb but hey, that is what they like, I aint gonna judge. I dont see it as just shoes. I see it as art.

And @MegaTech said it best, they are almost like stocks, get the right pairs and you can sell for a MASSIVE profit later.

Yeah even if you're not a sneaker guy you should understand that shoes that cost that low are just not that well made, and you're going to end up spending more on them in the long run as they break down, especially if you're excercising in them.

I don't know. I've had the same ones for a while now. I maintain and prefer to get them in black to easier hide any flaws it have.

What shoes? I am telling you if you have not had an expensive pair before you will never go back to what you are wearing now. The difference in comfort in unreal. I used to be someone who also never used to spend money on sneakers until I first bought my first expensive pair.

To be fair I actually thought super paper Mario was very good. But nothing comes close to TTYD. Legit a top 5 game ever for me. Rougeport always got to me tho in a good way. Did you power cycle or just turn off an and on? Hold the power button for 10secs to power cycle. Most problems I have sort itself out like that.

My girlfriend's like a beginner teeny weeny baby sneakerhead and she stans for adidas/NMDs/Ultraboost so hard without knowing anything about sneakers outside of adidas in the last ~3 years (it's cute) and she flipped out when she first saw a pair of city socks.

She was like "adidas? they do stuff like that?" I'm like "babe it's sneakers there's always trash this isn't anything new." and her response was "really?"

Every brand makes some bad shoes. Adidas does not do it very often, Nike makes bad shoes more often because they make millions of different shoes so some will be bad, and Underarmour only makes bad shoes :P But I am warming up to city socks. I did not like them when I first saw them
