But seriously (ok that was actually serious), you also can:

Run around your house naked if you want, and not worry about flashing anyone.

Have your own space/home etc to return to without needing to interact with anyone if you don't want to (before getting a live in gf/wife etc of course).

Play your music etc as loud as you want, set up the living room as a gaming center etc.

Have sex as much and as loud as you want (what did I mention this already?!).

Honestly though, it's nice to have your own place if you can afford it. Honestly I think saving money early on (having roomates if you need to) makes more sense, and roomates often won't care i fyour having loud sex (especially if they are having loud sex, or if your having loud sex with them, or if your having loud sex with them and other people at the same time).

I mean, you can still live pretty cheap with roomates, so get a few friends together and rent a 2 bedroom wherever you live, convert the living room into a 3rd bedroom and split the cost 3 ways. Each of you has your own love pad to bring chicks/guys back to, and you have your own life without parental units watching over you.

You don't really SAVE that much living with your parents, unless they are paying utilities and food for you as well. You can live fairly well on $500 a month with friends if you want, and even min wage jobs pay for that in most areas in 1 week (still leaving you 3 weeks of income to do with as you will).

So yeah.....

Desirable, sure, but you're trying to say that indiscriminately eating inedible material to feel mechanically full is reasonable behavior.

Given a chance, I'd try it, but the problem is that trying human meat requires one of the following to happen:

1. I kill a person and eat them
2. Somebody else kills (or dismembers) a person and I eat (part of) them
3. A person dies (or loses a limb) due to natural causes and I eat (part of) them
4. A person voluntarily dismembers themselves and I eat part of them

#1's obviously bad, and I would not have their consent to eat them. In case #2, I'm unlikely to be able to acquire consent to eat them immediately before their death (and I don't think prior consent is really sufficient here). In case #3, I could potentially acquire consent, but the cause of death/dismemberment makes it unlikely that eating them will be healthy. In case #4, the tissue's healthy and I'd have consent, but that scenario would be cause for questioning their mental health, meaning that consent would not be competently given.

It's not just something that I see being possible to do safely and consensually.

Then I guess I'll have to learn to enjoy fava beans and Chianti.

He's not wrong. Human meat lacks essential amino acids (if we could produce them ourselves, they'd be in our meat), so it's not a viable staple protein for a long-term basis, but it's still very much food. Just not food that you can legally or morally obtain.

It provides a mechanical sensation of fullness (esophageal and stomach stretching) while being completely edible. Eating ice does not qualify as pica, despite the lack of nutrition.

I could be wrong, but I think this might be SleepingKing. That or one of the alts made to troll him. That or somebody entirely unrelated to that.

No, it's not better at all. Rocks or metal in your stomach is going to be very painful, more painful than if you ate nothing at all.

Human flesh is food. It's meat.

Also, you're not going to be starving that much after only one week with no food. Sure you will hungry as hell, but not starving. It takes well over a month to actually starve to death.
