The other Thawne actor had a "dangerous and ruthless" vibe, while Cavanagh has more of a "cunning and creepy" feel. I like them both. I do like them both, but I'd give the edge to Tom just because I like that actor.

That's in the original timeline; the one Eobard Thawne is from. In that timeline he became The Flash much later. When Thawne was stuck in our era he couldn't wait long enough for things to happen the normal way, so he sped things up with the particle accelerator (no pun intended).

If Barry saved his mom from getting killed, none of the events of the show would have happened as we know them (or at all). The problem is, being part of an established cross-continuity, that can't be allowed to happen.

When Eddie Thawne killed himself to erase Eobard Thawne, that should have reset everything, but it was preserved when Barry stopped that anomaly at the end of the first season.

As for why Barry didn't save his mom, he knew everything would change and decided that he liked the life he has. He later changes his mind and does save her, and it still turns out to be a bad idea. And then things got even worse when he resets things.

I finished playing through all of Kingdom Hearts (minus Re:Chain of Memories; I don't hate it like some people do, but I just don't have the energy to go through it a third time). Time travel is a big thing in season 3, nearly irrelevant in 4, and kind of important in 5.

Unfortunately Barry will always make dumb decisions (in battle at least), because otherwise he would be absurdly powerful. Any speedster who knows what they're doing could practically rule the world.

My opinion on the word is kind of uncommon; I believe that a word only has as much power as people decide that it does. I don't want that word to have so much power, so I don't give it any; I use it to describe any person, male or female.

That's only in my head though; I don't go around saying it because I know some people actually are offended by it and that's fine.

I never actually watched much of the Detective Conan sub, besides some of the more important story arcs. I have everything that was dubbed, and besides that I just read the manga and watch the movies.

I'm also five episodes into Just Because and liking it. It's got nice atmosphere and the characters & subdued tone have a realistic feel. I'm curious what others who have seen it think about it though, because apparently it's surprisingly polarizing.
