Hmm. I think it would be easier if you stopped with this boring and lazy shtick. Give it a rest already, these quotes are like 20 years old, are they still really that funny to you? Move on. I can just picture you sitting there eating a big pile of member berries going "member the monorail?" "member who shot mr. burns?" It's more pathetic than amusing.

Have you ever flown before? Flight attendants walk past you maybe once ever 10-15 minutes. They have a lot of people to serve. Since most planes only have one aisle, they cant have dozens of attendants walking about. So yeah, I could see it going unnoticed. Especially during a time when refreshments are being served, since that takes longer for them to make their way down the aisle.

I dont think its all that extreme, since it doesnt require that much effort. Id say the straw thing is more extreme (why not just drink from the cup without a straw?).

I have one thing that is sorta similar that I do. Trust me, Im not some extreme recycler. Im sorta like how you described yourself. If something is recyclable, I clean it with minimal effort and just put it in the bin. However, my mom is the only person I know who does zero recycling. She claims its too difficult, despite me telling her repeatedly how simply it is. So when I go to her place, if I have a drink in an aluminum can or plastic bottle, Ill take it home so I can recycle it.

Its the only weird thing I do.

Only time I ever got anything in my favor from Amazon was when a friend got a me a birthday present about 5 years ago. He was gonna get me one of the Kidrobot Simpsons blind box figures, since Id gotten one the previous year while I was in Vegas. Instead of sending him one figure, they sent him one case of figures, which contained 20 of them (while just charging for the one).

So I was opening a ton of those things that year.

So this reminds me of a situation I had at work. If something looks nice about a co-worker, Ill comment on it. Man or woman. If a guy has a good outfit on, Ill let them know what I think. If a girl has a cute blouse or shoes that I like, Ill tell them. Figure its uplifting to hear a compliment. Or if anyone does something different with their hair or gets a haircut, Ill tell them it looks nice.

A few months back, a manager heard me make such a comment to a female coworker. I was told to stop doing that, as I could be making a female uncomfortable. When I mentioned I regularly pass along compliments to men and women at the office, I was told to just stop complimenting the women, but it was ok to continue it with the men.

I found the situation a bit weird. But Ive complied.

I have co-workers that show up clearly sick, hacking and sneezing. And when I comment that they should go home, they usually respond with no, that wouldnt be fair to you and the others to pass along my work.

Like... I get where youre coming from, and your heart is in the right place. But Id rather have 1-2 slightly days of tougher workloads than 4+ days of feeling bad 24/7, should I catch what you have.

I beat the game when I as fairly young, but there are times when it doesnt give you a ton of direction. I could see that being tough for someone who hasnt played it before. The only parts of the game that tend to pose any real threat are...

1) Fighting Astros. If he uses rub and it kills an important member of your team, it can make it an uphill battle.

2) A random encounter with sorcerers in the ice cave. Their attacks can cause insta-death, which can wreck havoc if they get a surprise attack on you.

3) Again in the ice cave, you twice need to fall through a hole in the floor, which results in an unavoidable battle with a full team of undead creatures. If they start stunning your team, there is a chance that theyll slowly kill you and theres nothing you can do about it.

4) If WarMech appears in the floating castle, it can absolutely wreck your team just before fighting Tiamat. Even if you beat it.

Overall, I highly prefer the NES version over the remakes. The remakes are way too easy.

darcandkharg31 posted...
I have never beat them but aint all the bosses easy? Like the more frustrating part is getting to them because of the high encounter rate and whatnot?

You can run from most encounters. Just grind a bit at times early on to get a few good weapons and spells, and make sure you have enough potions for the earlier dungeons, just in case. Once you get a few healing items, you can pretty easily keep your team at full strength.

I wasnt always great about it. But about 5 years ago, my dentist let me know that the gap between two of my lower molars was widening very slowly. You probably wouldnt even be able to tell if you looked, since were talking about millimeters. But since then, Ive noticed that tiny bits of food are more prone to going in that gap, which can be uncomfortable. So as a result, Ive been flossing a lot more regularly. At least once a day, and as often as 3 times per day. So that weird gap ended up being a blessing in disguise for the time being.

Its leagues better than it was 5+ years ago, unless you were into watching the bra & panty matches exclusively. The in-ring stuff is greatly improved by most of the women wrestlers (there are definitely still a few bad ones).

If you are interested, here is a match between two of their best talents, Asuka & Ember Moon, at NXT (WWEs developmental brand). The background is that Asuka is the champ and has been for a record reign. Ember Moon has been her toughest challenger, and Asuka beat her during their first encounter, although it took some lowballed tactics (something unusual from Asuka, who normally just would beat up her opponents):
