| Amesoeurs 09/19/18 5:47:23 AM #1 | Hi, I never post but decided to come check out CE again for the hell of it. I used to frequent this board around 12-8 years ago. It's amazing how much the internet has changed since then and it makes me happy that simple PHP boards like this are still active. I stopped coming to the site shortly after I finished high school. I did a science degree and moved to Melbourne for a job in 2015, where I met my recently ex-gf. I got posted back to my home town in another state after 9 months on the job, did long distance with her for a year and then managed to transfer back to Melbourne. She's American and is just about to finish her PhD here. She's decided she wants to move back to America and it's something I couldn't see myself doing, so we broke up a few days ago, even though we're going to be living together for the next few months. Pretty rough going. Nowhere near as into music as I was back then either. There used to be a hive of us always seeking out new stuff - Husikam, DKDKDKDKDK and dragoon are a few names I can recall. Screamo and post rock were probably the two most popular genres on here. I also remember my original account getting banned because a 16 year old girl on here had nudes leaked and I asked somebody to email them to me - I was also 16, so at the time I didn't see much of an issue (clearly I had no moral compass back then). Anyway, not a lot of point to this thread, just thought I'd say hi. I think I made a similar thread to this like a year ago |
