GREETING MAFIA FRIENDS. Game is currently going through balance check. I really like this set up but I want to make sure other people like it too. Roles will either go out tomorrow or Wednesday depending on how long it takes me to refine the final setup. Apologies for the delay but I want to make the game as enjoyable as possible so I'm running this past multiple mafia VETS for input. As soon as it gets my final approval, I will quickly write up flavor and send out roles.

If you are new or relatively inexperienced, please refer to the rules before playing. I am stricter than most hosts and will modkill if I feel like you are breaking the rules in a way that negatively impacts the game. I once modkilled two players in a day, one for copy-pasting their role PM and another for posting after deadline. It ended the game for town. I don't like doing this but the rules are in place for a reason so please refer to them.

ALSO I want to make sure everyone is still very much interested for the game. I expect 5 meaningful posts per day cycle. It doesn't sound like much, and it isn't. If you do not think you can fulfill that requirement, please let me know and I will replace you. If you don't hit the minimum, I'll replace you without warning. Please, it makes for a better game if people don't have to guess the alignment of someone who has gone AWOL.

Good news everyone! I had a couple last minute balance changes and right now I think the game works better as an 18 than a 17. I am sending these out to a couple people to see what they think, and as long as they don't like it as a 17 better we will be running with an 18 person setup. Roles will go out Tuesday and game will start on Wednesday (assuming I can write up flavor quickly enough).

I'll keep you updated and I'll also tag everyone shortly just to make sure everyone is still HYPED and didn't fall down a well or something like that that would preclude them from playing.

So I guess I would hedge a bit and say he definitely isnt as conservative as Thomas and not as liberal as Roberts, but his posionting between them is somewhat vague.

Welcome to what may very well be my final ASoIaF mafia. At this point we just have to accept George R.R. Martin is too busy counting his enormous pile of money to actually finish another book, so this may be all we get. Which brings us to the epic conclusion of ASoIaF Mafia. One final adventure together. Winter is coming, ladies and gentlemen, and I want you there with me so we can bring it in in style.

For recap:
Game of Thrones Mafia: TOWN gets a perfect win off of incredible, strong team play from basically everyone in TOWN. It might be the best town game I've ever seen.
Clash of Kings Mafia: TOWN victory. Less clean than GoT Mafia, but it was still a solid performance.
Storm of Swords Mafia: STARK victory. Poor town imploded, including multiple mod kills on the final day for someone copy pasting their role PM and another guy posting hours after the STOP.
Feast for Crows Mafia: GREYJOY victory. Leo and literally every good town player in the game were not enough to overcome DEEPSCUM puns who pulled off an amazing victory in the final 4.

So we're 2-2. This is the tie-breaker. Will town or scum triumph? *cue theme music*

This is a game for 17 players. Standard rules will apply. I will be doing something slightly different this game where I will post dead players role PMs upon flip. Expect some non-standard roles. Expect lots of flavor. EXPECT FUN.

I'll likely start the game early next week, but that will depend on signups. This is not first come first serve, and I will want at least three dedicated replacements (so 20 total signups) and ideally a cohost.

I've noticed, for some reason, a lot of alt-righters will vote exclusively right wing, espouse right wing talking points, share right wing articles and memes, but then go "but I'm really centrist/left wing" for some reason I cannot possibly elucidate.

And all three of those people have been posting stuff like this for years now. None of them were converted by Trump. Sorry if that was the confusion, but I distinctly remember all three posting essentially the same stuff since 2012 at the earliest.

Ulti has unfortunately been on the conspiracy wagon for some time now, which may be why he initially liked Obama honestly. In a Obama/Clinton/McCain/Romney sort of set up, Obama is the outsider that isn't a career politician. I think the villains in Little Nightmares are more grotesque than cartoony personally, mainly meant to reflect the ugly traits of humanity. Horror doesn't always have to come from jumpscares and there's a moment in particular in the late game that is pretty horrifying.

I don't disagree with this necessarily, but it is more unsettling and creepy than genuinely scary though. Grotesque is probably a good way to characterize them, but they are cartoon-ily grotesque. There is no realism to the game, which might make it easier for people who don't like scary games to digest. I don't want to really spoil any thing for whoever is going to play this, but I certainly don't think "horror" with this like I do The Evil Within, Doki Doki, Amnesia, etc etc etc.

It is more of a puzzle platformer with some creepy backdrops. I think even people who aren't fans of horror games, and who may not like horror at all, can still enjoy this.

If you click on their "source" it is a NY Post story from earlier in the year. Their source from it was a single woman who claimed she was told that on a call to the company. The Post asked Proctor & Gamble about it and they emailed back "no" and nothing else because it was such a dumb question. And they ran a story on it!

And then multiple other newspapers run a story about that story and suddenly its an "OMG THE FEMINIZATION OF AMERICA" like Proctor & Gamble is some secret liberal cabal that is trying to destroy masculinity.

Like, it may not have been your intention, but that story is gaining traction at places like r/incels, r/the_donald, r/MGTOW and other bottom tier trash subreddits because it proves how globalists are trying to destroy men or some other nonsense. And its just crazy the story ever had legs in the first place.

I'm trying to think really hard here, but I do not remember jump scares at all.

It does have a SPOOPY atmosphere, and like I said what it reminds me the most of is Limbo. Sort of a dark, oppressive atmosphere and some chase sequences from cartoony looking baddies, but it is not a horror game. The atmosphere is kind of there, but there are no jump scares or anything like that. It is more creepy than it is scary if that makes sense.

I'd recommend someone trying it out because it was a neat little platformer. Not great, but definitely worth the couple days it takes to finish.

And that isnt even true of all Christianity. There are plenty of accepting LBGT churches around here that have members of their congregation that are gay and that perform marriages for everyone.

So it is a subset that is basically going our interpretation of Christianity is better than yours and the government should affirm it.

They want laws that enshrine their religious viewpoint and establish it as the law of the land for people who arent Christian (or who arent the right kind of Christian). Gay people just want to exist with the same rights others enjoy, and laws that support this community in no way impact members of society who are not gay. Thats why this one to one comparison doesnt work.

That is enforcing your religion on others and forcing the entire country to abide by a position educated entirely by your religious views. These arent laws forcing you to be a Christian per se, but laws forcing you to abide by Christian teachings even if youre not which is just as bad.
