What time you eat has zero impact on weight loss. Eating 2000-2400 calories throughout the day would do the same thing.

Ya, but I think he is getting at that if he eats multiple times it will always be over eating, by having one huge meal that he can over eat with it takes that struggle away.

Thanks to CE*

I've have been struggling with weight my entire life. I'm not just overweight... I'm morbidly obese. Last time I weighed in I was about 450 lbs. Thank goodness both of my parents were athletes. I know it makes a huge difference since I have no issues with moving around and doing what I need to do. I work a full time job where I typically walk about 2 miles a day at work with 0 issues.

The issue I'm sure many of you can guess is that I like to eat and I over eat often. I do. That's why I kept gaining weight. I've tried many MANY different diets. All of them made me mad/depressed and I couldn't stick with them.

I've taken what you guys said to heart. Weight loss is simple. You will lose weight if you burn more calories than you put in. Simple math. You also have to eat a certain amount of calories a day to mantain a certain weight. Maintaining my weight is about 3600 calories a day.

Here is the style I'm trying. I don't eat anything all day. (Which is surprisingly easy for me) I typically drink flavored water only with no calories but if I do drink something with calories I count it. Then.. toward the end of the day... I get 1 big meal. I keep my calories for the day between 2000-2400.

That's it and it's working beautifully. I haven't weighed in yet but I can already feel a huge difference. I have way more energy. Certain pain that I was developing the last month all but disappeared in a couple of weeks. Certain clothes fit better than before. It's easy for me to do and it's working. I'm planning on adding additional cardio in a week or so when I finish moving. About another mile of walking a day. It's not a lot and easy for me to do but it will 100% help.

This is the first time ever I feel like this can work. Thank you CE. Hopefully I will follow through this time.
