It's mostly due to certain copyrights. I've seen a couple streamers who couldn't submit particular cartoon or video game based emotes for that reason. A person's face likely doesn't apply.

How so though? You have to pay the streamer in order to use them. Couldn't that person easily attempt to sue? Or get them with some sort of legal implication?

Uh, there's plenty. Aris has like 3 alone.

How do streamers get away with using famous people's likenesses as emotes? They're definitely not getting permission. And use of the emote is not free. You have to pay the streamer to use them. I could be wrong, but how is that not lawsuit-worthy? I don't get it.

Also, the "trip calculator" site or whatever is trash.

St Charles is still like an hour away from Chicago, man. Also sounds like chances are you went through the tolls on 88 so start looking there.

But why do I have to "look". Why don't they already have this information. They have traffic cams. They should have my license plate. That means people just have to guess and hope they choose the right ones. That's not really fair for people who don't really know the area. What if I miss one that I went though, or pay the wrong one, and then get slammed later? That just seems like a really dumb way to do it.

So I traveled from Alabama to Chicago (technically St. Charles) last week for Combo Breaker. Thing is I didn't realize Illinois was a toll state. I had no cash on me and didn't wanna stop traffic, so I passed through one without paying (through I-pass) on the way. On the way back, I went a different route (east by the city toward Gary, Indiana), and passed through 3 or 4. I honestly don't remember which ones, and didn't think I would have to be doing homework here after a vacation. I assumed I could easily just pay these online due to the cameras having my plate numbers and such (and signs literally saying that you can), but apparently you're supposed to know exactly which tolls you went though and write them down? That's dumb. The plate finder isn't finding my plates. My GPS sucks and only works when it wants to, and I have never been to Illinois before. I get turned around occasionally because of it. I'm just trying not to get lost and to get to my destination when I'm driving in an unknown place. I'm not trying to do take notes and do homework. I assume most out-of-towners feel the same way. They should understand that. A little annoyed here. No idea what to do. If anyone familiar with this, help would be greatly appreciated.
