Probably the most degenerate form of "entertainment" filled to the brim with antiquated misogynistic values, attempted reinforcement of traditional gender roles along with encouragement of the objectification of women, promoting sexualization of minors and pedophilia, created by an exploitative industry that overworks its employees to literal death. It lacks any worthwhile social or political commentary and is therefore worthless as "art" and encourages trash people to stay trash.

Same thing can be said of JRPGs really. Vapid mush. It's a little forgivable if you're 14 but even then you should be able to think critically and weed out the trash and find fulfilling entertainment and works of art that truly means something.
