I first played it in Early Access years ago lol. It's actually MUCH easier now than it was then. It's hard if you play badly but it's very fair. You'll get punished super hard if you play poorly, but as long as you prepare properly and don't get greedy it's good.

Welp, worked 2 whole hours tonight. I am pissed.

Why only 2 hours?

I work for a catering company and it's kinda our slow season right now. Had a big wedding today and I was going to clean up after and shut the kitchen down. Normally that would get me 4-5 hours. For some reason my boss decided to keep EVERYONE there cleaning up tonight. Which meant the people who had already worked from like 11 AM to 9 PM had to stay and help. In the end it took the same number of man-hours but spread around instead of me doing it. Nobody was happy with this decision since they all just wanted to go the fuck home by that point.

15 minute commute thankfully. I live about a mile from where I work. Used to be a 45 minute commute EACH WAY before I moved. Thank Christ those days are over.

Pirate planet went down and now we finally get more details for prizes in the minigame.

100 copies of each game will be given away, or 400 games for most planets. Lots will be assigned to all players who spent time on that planet WHO WON AT LEAST ONE FIGHT. The more time you spent on it the more entries you get.

Frankly, the odds of winning even if you're on a planet from the moment it goes live to the moment it is finish are extremely low. I've got over 13 hours on Dark Humor now, almost 100% uptime on it, and I'd say I'll be lucky if my odds of winning are even 1 in 10,000. It just the law of large numbers at work.

Honestly surprised I got something. I don't post much here, but lurk more than anything. Definitely all the great people here have helped redeem my opinion of this board after all that community board and political stuff. Keep it up guys!

Honestly this board can be divided into two groups: down to earth folk who have been here FOREVER and just lurk/chill post and fucking assholes who are still children regardless of their age. The problem is that the latter are extremely vocal so that's mainly what you see. If you start talking with the right people this board is great for socializing.

For these topics we all collectively leave our shit outside and play nice, even the folks who know they have extremely different beliefs or views. Arch's contest is hallowed ground for PC gamers xD

Ok, for those of you who care I've got a breakdown on the game.

Relevant to everyone: You can win free stuff from the minigame with minimum effort investment. All you need to do is SELECT a planet with a game you'd like to try to win, then win ONE BATTLE (of any difficulty) on that planet. After that you can simply leave the game open to the select-a-tile screen and your time will continue to rack up. Since the prizes are award ONLY based on time and not score this is fine. Your odds of winning will be the same whether you break your mouse clicking or idle it the whole time. It is important that you win at least ONE fight, however. Prizes are awarded after a planet is completely subdued. Leveling up awards cosmetic items for the game but has no other benefit. Also, seems like you can claim 3 sale trading cards a day from the game.

How to win the game First off, highly reccomend an auto clicker of some variety. I use this one:

It's free and super easy to use. Set it to about 100 clicks per second and you're on EZ mode.

Failing that, you can turn on Mouse Keys, which registers the 5 and + buttons on your number pad as mouse clicks. Will drastically increase your manual click rate.

If you're using an auto click then feel free to dive right in to the High difficulty areas. You'll still crush them. If not then stay on Low difficulty until you get to level 3. At level 3 you can move up to Medium. Spam your #1 ability like crazy. Once you unlock the #2 ability use it right before you'd get hit by an entire wave of enemies. Once you unlock #3 then spam it at groups.

Steam App seems to run MUCH smoother than browser, so I suggest playing on that. Also, having multiple instances of the game running doesn't help you. I tried being on multiple planets across multiple tabs but it only registers the LAST one selected. Best to pick a planet with a game you really want and stick with it.

You don't auction them off, you list them on the Marketplace from your Inventory. As long as you've been using Steamguard 2FA for at least two weeks it's pretty easy. Just list them for one cent below whatever the current price is, authorize the listing on your Steamguard device, let the money roll in. Takes like 10 second per card.

There's also a program, ArchiSteamFarm, that will idle cards for you as long as you're not in a game. Takes a little work to set up, but given enough time it will produce all the cards from all your games without you having to even install them. I've got a friend who has collected 70 cards in two days with it and has another 300 to go lmao. At ~.3$ each its only $9 but $9 is 2-3 games next week sooo...

There used to be a better program, IdleMaster, but a recent Steam update broke it. It was much easier to use but it is no longer being updated :/

Is there a way to quick list them all in one chunk? I have to verify them via email for each one and then it holds them for 10 days. Wth yanma.

Yeah, get Steamguard set up on your phone. Unfortunately you'll need that for two weeks before it'll quit putting a hold on your Market transactions so you're out of luck for this sale lol

Cloud vs Link for me. Not so much the RESULTS of the fight as much as how badly managed it was. Link got pretty much every power/item he could possibly want across the entire Zelda timeline and Cloud got... His starting sword and materia, which you quickly replace within 2% of the game. And even then their explanation was that Link could block literally anything because Z-Targeting while hiding behind a shield xD . Dude literally spun in place blocking Omni-slash because Z-Targeting lock on mechanics lmao

I'd sincerely like to see an actual even match between the two sometime, taken to their fullest realistic powers. You'd have to nail down a specific version of Link tho. Would be really interesting to see play out, I think
