Fafner the Beyond should deal with that new Mir that Miwa will communicate with. She should be old enough now. The new island is keeping those guys alive I guess. Kenji has gotten fat LOL. His head is a rectangle now. By the way I think Fafner the Beyond might be a movie. Which will kinda suck since we'll have to wait longer.

Also don't forget about Jonathan and his Mark Raison in space. I'm sure he'll come back too. Hopefully he'll be saved and join the good guys.

And yeah, I think Kazuki and Soushi have a brotherly relationship. They're really close and they clearly care about each other a lot.

Oh yeah I think the line was "Geez you're so awkward" when Kazuki called Soushi that in the haircut scene, and Kazuki was smiling as he said it I think. Man I really need to watch Exodus again. All these feel moments.

Yeah it's a funny cute thing about Fafner. The series makes it look like Kazuki and Soushi are gay for each other with some of their scenes but really they're not and Soushi and probably Kazuki too both like Maya. I'm all for Kazuki and Maya.

There was a funny part when Soushi gave Kazuki a haircut where it was all awkward and I think Kazuki even called Soushi weird or something lol. Man Soushi is such a lovable dork.

You have to let it go man. Canon made a heroic and selfless sacrifice. Even letting go of her chance of being with Kazuki.

As for Nicht, like I said Sein started out with the same design with the wire weapons and laser show. But both Sein and Nicht evolved into their unique forms. But Nicht actually RETAINED the wire weapons and lasers as you have seen.

I'm not sure about if Kazuki cured the side effects. Man, it's so long ago I need to watch Exodus again lol.

Seri is best girl. Maya is second best. I'm sure Seri will be back with Orihime/her replacement when the island comes back on the surface.

Also I understand about Sein and Nicht. They've had the same designs for years, especially Sein since 2004, but I don't mind since they're so cool. Sein did get slightly redesigned for its CG model but it's still supposed to be the same design from the first season I guess. Do you remember how Sein first had a different design with the wire weapons on its back like wings and I think homing lasers? But then Kazuki got it to evolve into the unique form it has now. Nicht also started out with the same kind of design before evolving with its massive monster arms and shit lol.

It will be cool if Sein does evolve to another new form though. And I hope Kazuki will dual wield lugar lances again like he did in the first season. I was kinda annoyed how he kept only using one since the movie.

Glad you enjoyed it so much! No do you see why I think Fafner is not only one of my most favourite mecha anime, but one of my most favourite series ever? It's just so awesome!

And do you remember when I told you that Koyo is badass? Because of the way he came back in the movie and in Exodus. The cool thing is that in the times he came back he saved people from being assimilated. He saved people from suffering the same fate he did. Kinda makes me tear up at the thought. He's such a cool guy. Plus he has an awesome Fafner with awesome abilities now.

Holy shit this is probably the greatest mecha series i've seen in years

There's a reason I've been pushing Fafner all these years here. I just wish that other people here would give it a chance. It's underrated. I'm so glad XEBEC managed to make more Fafner but they probably deserve more fans.

Omg finally dude! You heard the awesome insert song by angela in episode 9! Such an awesome part of the episode too, and one of my most favourite Fafner episodes ever with Kazuki and Soushi coming in with a badass entrance with their rocket pods to save the day.

And you finally experienced hammy Soushi. This is how he's like when he pilots. It's like it brings out another side of him. Soushi is such an adorable weirdo and it's cool to see his chuuni side when he pilots lol. That screencap you posted is one of those hammy moments of his that I love.

Cookie, Heaven and Earth IS the movie. You need to watch it after season 1 and Right of Left, which you did it seems. You need to watch Exodus after Heaven and Earth, since Exodus is the sequel to Heaven and Earth.

It doesn't really hurt to read the wiki lol. You could've done that and saved yourself from being spoiled by watching things in the wrong order.

Also, you two REALLY need to check out angela music. They've done every Fafner songs except for the character songs sung by their VAs. I posted angela's music many times in these threads for years now probably. Cookie the movie ED is "Soukyuu" by angela. I have a lot of their Fafner songs and other songs including that one lol.

I can not stress enough how awesome angela is. One of my most favourite bands ever. I'm gonna keep posting their music here. People here need to know the greatness of Fafner and angela.

That Koyo episode where he temporarily woke up drove me to massive tears. I couldn't stop crying. The way he was, and how Kazuki and friends were protecting him. I was crying like a baby. There were more parts in the series that made me cry so much, like Right of Left, Heaven and Earth and Exodus.

No other show has made me cry this much. Fafner really brings in the feels. It's another reason why it's one of my most favourite series ever.

Also make sure you watch Right of Left after the first season and before Heaven and Earth and Exodus. It's a prequel but it's best to watch it after the first season.

Well, finished fafner, that was amazing, ill probably go to sleep and watch the movies and stuff later but now, to sleepIll just say that ignoring that i saw Nich and Sein in s2, Sieben has the best design out of all the s1 mechs, and maya was the surprise pilot of the show for me, also kasugai was the surprise bro of the show, while minazuchi is the broest of them all lol

Hah, I told you Fafner is amazing. It's one of my most favourite series ever for a reason. And it's not just because it's mecha. It's because of everything. The mecha, the action, the characters, the emotion, the drama, the music. Everything. And you only scratched the surface. You got more to go. And the series isn't even done yet either. There's a new Fafner series coming called Fafner the Beyond.

Also, what's your favourite Fafner, Cookie and Gifted? I've been saying this for years, but Fafner Mark Sein is my most favourite! The design, the abilities and attacks, everything!
