That's why I basically completely ignored most non command spritnites. I didn't grind at all, but I was still able to craft all of the ones I wanted. For nightmare mode that might be necessary though.

I just finished Lost Sphear, and I can say that it was an improvement over Setsuna. The spritnite system is largely unnecessary, though. There is a category in LP called counter spritnite, where you can spend momentum charges when you get hit to do something to the attacker. It's completely useless, as the offensive sublimations you can get using MC are amazing.

The story is more original. It isn't a cut and paste of another game like Setsuna was. The battle system was a little bit more complex with the tactical turn based movement. The game is much longer if you count the after credits storyline (which you should, as otherwise the game ends super abruptly). That was my biggest criticism of the game, honestly. You get the full credits and an end save, but still have like 10 hours of gameplay left after that. There are also bonus dungeons you unlock that have randomized loot, but I haven't messed with them yet. The artifact system is pretty cool and highly customizable. You can cater it to whatever playstyle you want or whatever party you use.

It's a solid 8.5/10
