Le final bump

Okay, I'm pretty sure this is how I'm going to do this, unless the results dramatically change.

I'm going to begin playing Banjo-Kazooie Monday night after I get off work, and continue playing it throughout the week until I (hopefully) beat it. However, I will dedicate one of my off days (most likely Wednesday) to Metal Gear Solid, since it will likely take me less than a day to complete if I skip the cutscenes.

Bumping twice this hour since CE is so active.

Banjo Kazooie and MGS are tied!!! Whats it gonna be?!!

Honestly I would rather play MGS3, but I dont have any way to stream it as of now. If I did, I wouldnt have even made this topic. It would have been MGS3 and yall would have had to deal with it.

Looks like MGS is winning. Hm, if I play that, ill probably skip all the cutscenes. So itll take me like a day to beat. If that happens I guess ill start playing whatever gets 2nd place.

Gonna keep this topic bumped so I can keep a tally on what time those who are interested are most active, and which games they vote for.

My roommates are going out of town next week, so I'll be bored an alone when I'm not at work. I've never streamed a video game before, so I figure this week will be the perfect time to see if it's something I would enjoy doing or not. Above, I have listed 10 games that I would enjoy streaming. Are any of them games you would like to see me play?

Bout to run through Route 16-18 (Cycling Road and route leading to Fuschia City) to prepare my team for the last gym. My team will be:

Dugtrio L32
Alakazam L36
Venusaur L33
Blastoise L36
Kingler L34
Golem L38

That will basically be my party all the way up through the Elite Four, except My L34 Jolteon will replace Dugtrio, and Ill replace Kingler with Moltres after I catch it.

After that, the only trainers I will not have fought will be on Routes 19 and 20 (water between Fuschia and Cinnabar). Ill go there after Ive beaten the game and acquired Mewtwo on my way to acquire Articuno and Zapdos. The whole reason Im playing this game is because my roommate and I are both trying to complete the Pokdex on Gold and Silver. Gotta have those Legendaries, starters and the 2 fossil Pokemon from Bue in order to catchem all! My roommate also ran through Blue and we agreed to each get the opposite fossil Pokemon so we could trade. Thats right, fuckers! Were playing the game on old school GBAs and trading via actual link cables! Im also gonna order Pokemon Stadium 2 so we can battle our teams on the big screen whenever we get ready!

I literally couldnt pick up any other items. PC was full, too.

Plus, Im not doing the Missingno. glitch. Ive never beat R/B/Y straight up before. Back in the day, i would use that glitch for every play through. I want to beat it fair and square for once.

Shes getting boosted exp though, because I traded her from Silver. Same with Machop (who is now Machamp).

I think youre confused. Team Rockets secret hideout under the casino in Celadon is where you get the Silph Scope, which is entirely skippable if you get the pokedoll. The Silph Co. Office Building is where you get the Master Ball, and is a requirement for unlocking the Saffron City Gym.

I beat all the trainers in the casino basement anyway though, because I want to beat every trainer in the game.

Damn that took me 3 hours.

Holy shit I just spent a crazy amount of time sorting and selling items, and teaching TMs to my pokemon to make room for pickup items (PC and inventory were completely full).

My roommate and I are playing Pokemon Gold/Silver and each raising our own team to battle each other. He's pissed because one day that I was playing, I encountered 2 shinies within the span of one hour, and he still hasn't encountered any at all. Although I haven't encountered any other since then.

I'm pissed as FUCK because one of them was a Heracross, who is one of the ones I want on my team, but that one fled before I was able to catch him. I did manage to catch a lame ass shiny oddish, though.

It varies by game. Some are some arent.

This. I'll say MOST nes games sucked. Developers didn't know what they needed to make their games fun while balancing a challenge with fairness. There are so many games that feel like making it to the end is only 50% skill, with the other 50% being luck. But there are some true gems for NES too, such as LoZ and SMB 3.

The first Zelda game is still the best one (Haven't played BOTW yet, so it might be better).
