There are other ways of incapacitating people. The fact that they changed their story about the blunt objects, tells me they were willing to lie to make it look like they were completely justified. Even then, someone with a blunt object charging a patrol agent doesn't need a lethal response. |

The production of that was a mess, but Peter Jackson did the best he can. GDT was suppose to direct it, and then he dropped out. Peter Jackson came on board last minute and didn't get enough time for pre-production so it was all shot as they went. |
