by 2015, I just mean Lebron and a bunch of defenders vs. a much more talented team. I actually think Love being hurt helps them because Lebron can provide just enough offense and the rest of the team can actually guard 1-5. their only chance is to make it ugly.

I like to think about it a lot. I just think ExTha having that level of confidence/arrogance after a pretty average Lebron game is nuts. I guess if you just look at the stats and didn't watch the game it seems like he killed the Celtics.

91 jordan was all time though. that first threepeat team wasn't as good as the second, but jordan was better.

Jordan never beat Bird's Celtics and only beat Magic's Lakers when they were past their prime and hurt. the all-time greats cleared out before Jordan got his turn. I think Jordan is an all-time great of course but the best team they beat was.. the 93 Suns, probably? or the 92 Knicks/98 Pacers? and he left before the Rockets came into their own. (I don't think the Jazz were all that great.)

Boston 2012 for sure. Indiana had some really good teams around 2013-14. Atlanta won like 60 games, Chicago had the MVP in 2011, and if you want to go back, that 2007 Pistons team was really good.

boston's -2.5. that's a fascinating line to predict but I think it's about right. (not that I think it'll actually be a close game -- but it's unpredictable with an edge to boston)

I think the right thing to say is Jordan is the best player ever and James is the best career ever. if James does end up with 40k/10k/10k then it's pretty impossible to say you'd pick anyone else, but 91-93 Jordan is probably an apex that even Lebron can't cross.
