I need to post more, so I have decided to scan CE to find an interesting word of the day.
In this topic try to use the chosen word of the day in a sentence.

Today's word is infinite:
As defined by Merriam-Webster -

Of interest:

Anything infinite is so big that it seems to have no limits, but anything infinitesimal is so small that it is almost impossible to measure.

There seemed to be an infinite number of possibilities.

Today's word is vegan:
As defined by Merriam-Webster -
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/vegan

Of interest:
The word vegetarian sprouted up in 1839. Fruitarian ("a person who lives on fruit") ripened by 1893. In 1944, vegetarians who consume no animal or dairy products began calling themselves vegans. Then, in 1993, those who eat fish but no other meat chose pesce, the Italian word for "fish," to create the designation pescatarian. In that same year, meatatarian was served up as a word for those whose diet largely includes meat; that word is rare, however, and is usually used in informal and humorous ways, making it the type of fare not included in our dictionaries. Another fairly recent dietary word is flexitarian, a person who follows a mostly vegetarian diet but occasionally eats meat or fish.

I would have a difficult time following a vegan diet.

Today's word is ironic:
As defined by Merriam-Webster -
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ironic

Of interest,
The third, and debated, use of irony regards whats called situational irony. Situational irony involves a striking reversal of what is expected or intended: a person sidesteps a pothole to avoid injury and in doing so steps into another pothole and injures themselves. Critics claim the word irony and ironic as they are generally used (as in, Isnt it ironic that you called just as I was planning to call you?) can only apply to situational irony, and uses like the one above are more properly called coincidence.

It's ironic that computers break down so often, since they're meant to save people time.

Today's word is break:
As defined by Merriam-Webster -
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/break

Of interest and part of the reason for this word of the day:
break and brake: Remembering Which is Which

It can be hard to apply these words correctly: they sound exactly the same, and their spellings aren't easily connected to their meanings. One of the pair, however, is quite limited in scope, and focusing on when to apply that one can be key.

When the subject is slowing or stopping movement, the word to use is brake. Brake is both a noun, as in "put on the brakes" and "took my foot off the brake," and a verb, as in "brake at the stop sign" and "I brake for moose." As a noun, it's also used before other nouns: "brake fluid," "brake pedal." As in these examples, the word is used in contexts relating to cars, bicycles, and other vehicles. It's also used figuratively, however, to talk about the slowing or stopping of activity, as in "putting the brakes on spending."

I saw a number of achievements listed using the word brake for breaking something to get the achievements.
