Or was the limit just on number of times they can be resurrected? Either way, Bardock and King Vegeta would be really weak by the shows current standards...I know they can do the whole "train til you almost die and magically get way stronger" bit, but they didn't even utilize that for gohan, goten, or trunks who all have more potential than Goku/Vegeta.

Also, the people who write the show seem to have amnesia cus they legit forget about previously important characters.

This. In revenge of F Freeza got revived as a pile of chum since it had been too long and only survived because his species apparently has no organs or bodily fluids, or anything else really.

I'm pretty sure Frieza was revived in pieces because his species (or at least he himself) is extraordinarily resilient and was still "alive" after Trunks sliced him into pieces before obliterating the pieces so the Eternal Dragon could only return his body to the state it was in when it died, which was a rain of chopped up chunks.

One of my buddies had that condition where your esophagus doesn't seal off correctly from your stomach so you get constant heartburn from the acid so he had a procedure done to place magnets around the esophagus in a way that allows him to swallow food but wont allow the stomach acid up through the esophagus anymore.

This means he cannot physically throw up.

Unfortunately he also enjoys drinking to the point where he needs to throw up. This has lead to some of the most horrific dry heaving noises I have ever heard in my life.

When they summon Namek's eternal dragon to prevent Frieza from doing so, their first two wishes are to revive Piccolo, who comes back to life on Earth. They then use the second wish to bring Piccolo to Namek and then Guru dies so they have to wait to use their third wish (which ends up being to move the resurrected victims of Frieza via the Earth Balls to Earth before Namek exploded)

Flash Thompson Venom

Now that's something I'm struggling to get my head around. Did Flash know what it was before putting it on? He's always been a bit of a superhero fanboy, but that seems kind of suicidal.

Flash gets the Venom symbiote in a government program after he gets his legs blown off in Iraq. He works as Agent Venom and even gets to have legs while he has the symbiote on. Flash as Venom is fun because he uses the suit in a tranquilized form so it's very sleek and tactical, but as he fights and gets more and more aggressive, the suit wakes up and becomes more and more Venom-like (culminating with the formation of the mouth when the suit "wakes up")

Agent Venom is my favorite.

Eddie Brock also goes through periods of immense self loathing. For example he comes across the symbiote in the first place while he's going to a church to pray to God for forgiveness for killing himself. Eddie's self doubt and struggle to find worth in the world after his life begins to fall apart should be pretty relatable to the average person.
