Trevor Noah isn't funny, so the show is expectedly terrible.

In terms of content variety, the Daily Show was much better with Kilborn and during the first few years with Stewart. The show gained a cult following when Stewart started bashing Bush before the 2004 election, and it transformed into a liberal political show after that. Prior, it was a general news show that spoofed Nightline.

Anyone who says killborn was better than jon at any point isn't worth listening to. Also it was never a general news show under jon.

It absolutely was a general news show under Jon for his first few years. It didn't start lazily bashing cable news and the GOP every night until after 2004.

Not that I expect most of CE to remember the show from then, they were probably still in diapers.

Right. Because you were watching a liberal slanted 'news' show in the early 2000's on Conedy Central. I started watching it in 2002. It never changed, other than getting more outlandish especially when Colbert became a seperate thing.

But sure, just dismiss me as another baby CEman even though my account is like 4 years younger than yours. I actually keep track of names here over the years, and I have to say your transformation from a right leaning logical person to a mouth frothing 'attack the other side at all costs' gimmick is very disappointing.

People are acting like it's the second coming. Like they are revivaling a long dead franchise or something. There's been smash for every console since the series was made. I was mad hype for brawl, but after 4 came out, it's just kinda like....oh here's this console's smash.

And? People like different things. Time changes things too. I will never be as hype as I was when teenage me was dealing with Brawl either, but rather than get jaded about young people over hyping themselves i just laugh and smile. Let people be people man. They aren't hurting anyone. Do you enjoy being judged over asinine things? I don't.

Brawl's was better, had Ice Climbers and less boring safe choices for new additions

if they weren't afraid to add characters they can't market with current products there are so many more interesting characters they could add

not to mention the basic physics still feel shitty, though not as much as Brawl

Trading Snake for Cloud, Bayonetta, Pac-Man, Megaman and Ryu is fine by me.

And Wolf for the other dozen new Nintendo characters.
