That alone makes it very clear that she doesnt know the full extent of your objections to parenthood. If you had been totally forthcoming with her and the two of you are on the same page already, that comment wouldnt make sense.

Your girl really wants to have kids, and its fucked up that youre wasting her time - especially considering that shes already in her 30s and her biological clock is quickly becoming limited. You need to man the fuck up and make your intentions crystal clear.

It's not always obvious. Depending on the position of the appendix it can be pretty vague pain, and just feel like you have some kind of common infection.

It has three different unique things it can block.

Synchros were a huge improvement from fusions. XYZs were an improvement from Synchros. and now Links are an improvement from XYZs. Yugioh is focusing on making powerful cards that can be played easily instead of giving powerful cards restrictions to make them have a cost to play.

Damn that card is versatile as fuck.

The ease/speed of summoning extra strong monsters accelerates the game like crazy, and that's why I felt Synchro was the first significant step down the dark path. Although I think the game was peaking around the time D.A.D and then Lightsworn decks became a thing, I actually really like some of the early Synchro cards like Stardust Dragon (which is really cool without being too OP.) Macro Monarch was probably my favourite deck type overall.
It started to fall apart from a balance perspective later in series 6 after Crimson Crisis, Blackwings etc.

The dark parts of reddit are more nasty and extreme than here by far, probably because of the strict moderation here.

The troll density on the social boards is high here though, and because there's no downvoting it is always visible.
On the game boards, you get a lot of gatekeeping, fanboys and general shit-talking, but also there is quite a bit of good content there to be found for most games.

Roman is just filling that "rammed down your throat" type role that Cena has had all these years. Cena's hate has become more of a joke now.

Meanwhile the true top guys are the likes of AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and more.

Then there's NXT which is excellent in it's own right, and has many up-and-comers.

AJ Styles and Seth Rollins are consistently rock solid performers. Some of the older guys can still do great stuff too (Randy Orton comes to mind). I think that one spot Rollins vs Orton had at WM a few years ago was one of the best I've ever seen:

A few improvements I would have made:

Cut the entire subplot on the casino planet. It was goofy, pace killing, and disrupted the tone too much. If you still need the subplot, then have them infiltrate an imperial base or ship. Also, make Benicio Del Toro the codebreaker they were going after and not the other asshole who was mentioned for no reason.

Make the rebels' escape from the FO have more urgency. Them lazily floating through space was lame.

Obviously no way to foresee Carrie Fischer dying, but her sacrificing herself by ramming the ship would have been much better, and make it a situation in which there was no other way for the rebels to escape Downside would be her not "reuniting" with Luke via projection.

Killing Smoke and the throne room scene were both brilliant. But they completely squandered the opportunity to do something narratively powerful to set up for episode 9. They should have had Rey agree to join Kylo after his compelling case for going to the dark side, and episode 9 would be her going so far into the dark side that Kylo becomes wary of the monster he created and must then defeat her or save her. This would be redemption for them both and a lot better than Rey ultimately winning Kylo to the light side. It was even perfectly set up from when Luke tells her she went immediately to the Dark Side on the island. And RJ fucked it up. I would have forgiven all else if this plot point was allowed to materialize the way it should have, then episode 9 would be compelling as shit. Kylo staying Kylo and Rey staying Rey completely negated the incredible throne room scene as nothing changed for either characters' situation other than Kylo taking over the First Order. That scene should have been cataclysmic for the narrative but the conflict is literally the same as it was before. God damn it I am frustrated just talking about it.

I agree with most of this. Disagree about the throne room scene though, I think what they did was enough setup for Kylo in e9. I hadnt considered the idea of changing who the codebreaker was supposed to be, but that would have been a good way to cut out a bunch of BS in that part of the film.

Sony has been in the lead for most of this gen, and deservedly so with a better library of exclusives. Xbox has had a few strong ones early on (Halo MCC, Sunset Overdrive, Rare Replay, Forza Horizon series) but not much in the last couple of years.

MS has done far better things on the business side, with their game pass, backward compatibility, PC cross buy, etc. The One X is also a much better upgrade system than the PS4Pro, and I would probably recommend that as the best entry point to the generation to people who havent got a current gen console.

The winner of 2017 was the Nintendo Switch; they just stomped right out of the gate with 2 big top-quality first-party exclusives, and a whole bunch of solid ports and indie titles. Remains to be seen if this will continue, though.

It's the most mixed I've felt about any Star Wars movie. It has some of my favourite things from any SW movie (Kylo Ren in general I thought was excellent. The throne room fight scene was great, the shot after Holdo rammed the dreadnaught, and personally I liked most of the stuff with Rey and on Luke's island other than those nun/servant creatures.) But the plot with the resistance vs New Order felt really weak, especially the diversion with Finn and Rose in the casino town. And we still never really got any explanation for how The New Order managed to actually become a thing in the first place, given the ending of ROTJ.

I aldo son't really mind that Snoke and Luke died. Snoke was always less interesting than Ren. Maybe knowing how he got that strong would have been nice. Luke's ending was ok with me. I do wish Leia had died in that space scene though. She really was not essential for the rest of the movie, and now she's in an awkward situation where she will probably die off-screen, or simply not appear in the next movie.

Depends on the purpose. The ones I use for road trips are usually enough to cover the lengh of the trip plus 30-60 mins or so extra. For commuting and casual listening I don't make many long playlists, and tend to listen to albums most of the time.

What kind of jobs are you applying for? When I looked around for jobs, the employers didn't want unique cover letters. They wanted standardized applications through their own web service or through LinkedIn.

Yeah not everywhere even wants/cares about cover letters, depending on the role. I agree that the cover letter needs to be tailored. Even if it's a similar job at a different company, try to put at least one specific thing about their exact job.

If you're not going to customise the letter, I would actually lean on the side of not doing one at all.

MHW is the best option for a new player, by far. Even after all the improvements there are still things that are very opaque and clunky, though.

Start the game, get up to the great jagras fight and repeat that a few times with different weapons to get a feel for how it goes.

I studied american sign language for two years. that shit is a big deal. there are families that disown their kids due to these kinds of things.

We spent a lot of time talking about this issue in my ASL course.

Deaf people vs cochlear implants is probably the most mind-bending disability issue I've come across. I've never seen blind people advocating against cataract surgery or macular degeneration treatment, or those with mobility issues campaigning against wheelchairs, prosthetics and physiotherapy.

The whole deaf "culture" is about supporting each other in adverse circumstances, and finding a way to cope. Disapproving of others who want to remove themselves from those adverse circumstances just seems cruel.

I've only played the original NieR, just a few months ago. It's got strong writing, for sure, but I think playthrough B was the high point. That and the final ending. Most of the game is just filler. Some of the side quests have a few nice lines in them, but not worth the time it takes to complete them.
