the best part is the kids are being more mature than these right-wing adults.

The other best part is a week and a half ago they were all "Walk up, not out. Bullying isn't cool"

This has become my loose play through topic now.

Hit the 45th floor of the mines and level 7 fishing. Got a steady supply of Iron and Copper from mining and been making bank on Smallmouth Bass. Bought my bookbag upgrade and I'm in my last week of Spring. Gonna start farming a bit more come Summer due to getting some sweet seeds from the museum and gonna set up some sprinklers. Game is addicting.

Got the 25% increase in fish selling income. Made over 1k from one day of fishing. Got my backpack. Gonna start mining.

I made a small patch for Parsnips but I find myself finishing all day. Rank 4 in fishing and I'm only on day 8 of Spring.

Does this still stay financially viable with a few crops added in? I'm currently saving for a chicken coop and a bigger backpack. Once I've gotten a bigger backpack and a decent handful of fish to eat I think I'm gonna head into the mines. Alternate between mining and fishing while still keeping up with my small amount of crops.

I got so obsessed with playing optimally when I played it on PC. I'm strongly considering re-purchasing for Switch and playing it again, totally laid back this time.

That would be my advice-- settle in, get cozy, and don't rush it.

So is the social stuff (villagers and friendship stuff) available to do whenever or am I stuffed into a window that it has to be done?

Last I checked, there were no missables. You get an automatic, Harvest Moon-esque evaluation after about 2 years but it doesn't go on your permanent record (so to speak) and you can trigger a re-eval any time after that. So there's really no reason to race against the clock unless that's your preferred play style.

Various activities are temporarily locked by season, but the seasons always come back around for as many years as you like.

Good to know. Thanks! Any word on the multiplayer update they were talking about awhile back?

Bayonetta 2 came out in the current gen. Id hope its aged well.

Good thing I was talking about the first. That led me to not putting a 2 in the topic title.

Edit: also, isn't the Wii U last gen now?

Ill start off by saying I really enjoyed the game as a whole, but it wasnt a good Zelda game. It was an enjoyable experience all around though. I feel Link Between Worlds got the "non-linear Zelda" concept right. There was so little story in BotW. They shouldve just given us a larger LBW.

Then Bayonetta 2 begins and it's somehow more bonkers

Does the second one hold up compared to the first?

It's bizarre, to me, that people are already talking about 6th/7th gen games aging poorly or aging well.

Almost a decade old at this point

Bought 2 for the switch and it came with the first. Played it and LOVED it when it launched on the 360. Replaying it has been a fantastic experience. Just got to Chapter 11 so I'm almost done. Gonna play through it one or two more times before starting 2. So much fun.
