Had a lot of fun in AZ, CA and NM. Nice two weeks. Tons of cool adventures, nature walks, interesting spots, unique culture, people are a hell of a lot nicer. Especially in AZ.

Got to try a wide variety of local fast food I'm not used to, and mom/pop places. All good.

Highlights: Mountain climbing in Phoenix, local food in NM.
Cons: Food poisoning took me out for three days, I really missed the rain or double digit temperatures in 2/3 of those states.

I mean, everything in the word of mouth train. I didn't really watch many youtube reviews, recaps on reddit or stuff like that. I heard it was a dive on release, forgot all about it, then tried it out on steam with this sale going on.

I would have done well to just simply watch one or two gameplay videos in the last year or two. Game sucks, and hasn't improved a bit.

That shit was the most amateur, buggy, unpolished, ugly twitch shooter I've played in a long time. Resoundingly bad gunplay, AI, weight and feel to combat. The enemies are super glitchy and unpolished, and the story (at least the 2 hours I played of the stasis dlc) is super uninspired. Level design is linear and ugly, and it has the most predictable puzzles, props, audio logs, etc.

Game sucks.

INTJ, it never changes no matter what (useless) online quiz I take, and I even had a few month stretch of boredom where I did one a month from a different place and cleared my mind and just picked what I was feeling/gelling with at that current mood.

That said, I feel it is absolutely useless. I am the most sociable, friendly, empathetic and people-person minded person that I know. Sure I prefer to be alone most of the time and recharge away from people or conversation. I can be an asshole, sarcastic, condescending etc but this INTJ crap makes me sound like Sherlock or House and that's simply not the case. I don't take any credence in it ,and have actually related more to astronomy bull than myers stuff.

SOMA is a heavy philosophical narrative. The enemies are so unimportant and tacked on that the developers actually released a no-enemy mode that plays and gels better to the experience. It is not meant to be scary, but it's meant to be challenging on a questions given front. It also has an extremely sad ending that puts most other walking simulators to shame.

But yeah like another poster said it's a feels walking sim, but the feels aren't always explicitly sad -- it's creepy, eerie, unnerving and challenging to certain human perspectives. It's not wonderful, but the story kept me interested until the end.

For a horror game, the penumbra series (overture -> black plague) is better. For a soulless jumpscare simulator, Amnesia is better. All by the same devs.

There's probably more to this. I bet this is what happened:
*The group was waiting quietly or loudly,
*Some customer complained to staff,
*Staff asked them to leave,
*Group did not leave,
*Police was called and the officers asks group to leave,
*Group still did not leave,
*Police arrested to remove them from the premise,
*Group is released once they have a stern talking to by the officers outside of the private business.

Sounds pretty standard for those loitering / being a nuisance.

More explanation for what I mean. I watch a lot of cooking stuff in my spare time because I like to cook. I suck, I can probably only make three dishes very well out of... how many are in the world? But I try, because I like to.

I like to make Indian, Mexican and American-Cajun recipes the most because of their diverse flavors, spice, and seasoning. But whenever I see some hands-only gif recipe, or even Babish, the flavor profiles are always salt and pepper. And tons of it. "Liberal amounts of sea salt, coarse freshly ground black pepper." If I hear that phrase one more time, I'm gonna lose it. If it includes beef, veal, or any other red meat that's usually it.

Why? No one likes a good seasoned burger patty? No one likes a blackened steak and or chicken breast? No one likes spicy ass kebab? I know this is random but I feel like salt and pepper are far from the only options you have to make a good dish, and the internet is alight with tons of bland ass recipes.

Not trying to be internet doctor, I get insurance again in April. But I'm starting to get a little worried. I'm a tad overweight, 175lbs at 5'9 but I go for jogs/to the gym and I don't eat like a idiot.

My symptom is I eat and I fall asleep, sometimes I can't even manage to keep myself awake. It doesn't matter what food it is, but the condition is that it's the first meal of the day. E.G:

Thursday -- Woke up at 7am, coffee, toast, water. So tired that I went back to bed on the couch and instantly fell asleep, woke up again at 2pm. Asleep like a rock.

Friday -- Woke up at 8am, no coffee, orange juice, eggs/avocado. Guess what happened?

Today -- Bit of a junk food day, woke up late since I'm off work and not feeling great. Skipped breakfast, got a lean burger with no cheese and a side salad. Stumbling out of the diner was rough, and I fell asleep when I got home until now (almost 2pm)

After this recharge period of waking back up from my first meal, I'm generally sluggish the entire day but I'm functional and can go to work or do whatever. I usually struggle to sleep if I don't force myself to go to bed at 8 or 9 because I get a "second wind", but I'm not sure these things are related.
