As far as Warriors games go, it's pretty fun and has a lot of stuff, and it's even better if you're a fan of the Zelda series. The biggest issue would be if the core gameplay of the series is enough to keep you entertained because that's really hit-or-miss for a lot of people. It's repetitive, so go for it if you have a high tolerance for that kind of thing.

I honestly do not mind repetition and/or a little bit of grinding in games as long as they're fun.

I used to watch IFC a ton years ago, but then they inserted 50 commercial breaks into every mother fucking movie and ruined it.

They used to show Kurosawa movies on Saturday mornings, and I believe back then, they didn't have commercials at all.

I liked (loved) Mario Oddyssey, but I will concede that I'd prefer a gameplay style more akin to SM64 or the Galaxy games where the levels are open to explore, even reward exploration, but you have a clear objective

This. It was more of the older stage-based style than 64 and Sunshine. I don't know how you can view Galaxy as having openness on the level of 64, while also thinking Odyssey doesn't.

I didn't even like Thundercats that much, but I'm still dumbfounded as to why they actually thought this was a good idea.

I'd imagine they looked at the 2-3 other CN shows in this art style, and, thinking people enjoyed them and wanted more of it, commisioned a reboot. And they're probably legitimately shocked at the unanimously negative reaction because the echo chamber was so strong.

I haven't really kept up with it lately, but they used to put out some really interesting stuff.

People always called them biased or sensational, but they used to do some truly insane stuff like go and film in ISIS controlled towns at the height of their power. You didn't really get those kind of videos from anyone else.

Still seems kinda crazy that, Zelda 2 aside, it took until BotW (?) before Link could legitimately jump without the aid of Dumbo's feather.

And it still honestly didn't really need it. You can't jump high or far, and the parachute is more beneficial anyway. Jumping in BotW (or Zelda games, for the most part) is about as useful as it is in GTA.

Like...I didn't have the internet back when OoT came out but why the fuck would there be jumping? There wasn't jumping in LoZ and LttP. Only Adventure of LInk.

I think people just automatically assumed it. Everything was making the move to 3D, and platforming was huge at the time, and people probably assumed the lack of jumping in the earlier games was just a technical drawback. Then some of the early footage showed jumping - like every other 3D game at the time - then people played test copies and mentioned no manual jumping...and people got pissed because they got their hopes up about something dumb.
