No you're missing the point of the theory. The part of you "identifying" your gender would be a real thing inside you, like hormones and proteins that affect mood. But there is no biological aspect "identifying" your race. It is a purely social construct. Do you see the difference?

Explaining where identifying with gender comes from doesn't explain away identifying with race.
