Just played through Tales From The Borderlands (finished last night...well, technically this morning). What a great game. The soundtrack was pretty good too, with the music fitting in perfectly. Figured I'd share the licensed songs and then a couple originals for the game...

Episode 1: Jungle - Busy Earnin'

Episode 2: Shawn Lee's Ping Pong Orchestra feat. Nino Mochella - Kiss The Sky

Episode 3: The Rapture - Pieces of the People We Love (admittedly my least favorite of all these tracks)

Episode 4: Twin Shadow - To The Top (this song is so corny, but possibly made for my favorite "intro" because it fit so perfectly with what was happening in the game)

Episode 5: James Blake - Retrograde

Final Credits: First Aid Kit - My Silver Lining

And the original pieces that stuck out the most for me...

Prosperity Junction (reminds me a bit of Massive Attack's "Teardrop")

Vault Hunters Assemble

(Not sure why that last one won't pop up here, but I assure you the link works.)

If it helps, Mitch, I sold my PS4 and bought an XB1 and haven't regretted it a single day. While I miss a number of the PS exclusives (Horizon: Zero Dawn looked amazing, and Nier not coming to the Xbox was like a shot to the heart), I'm perfectly content with what I have on the Xbox. Games With Gold gives me four free games a month, and I usually enjoy one or two of them. I use Bing Rewards and Xbox Rewards to purchase all DLC content or to purchase games outright and haven't had to buy a game with real money in ages. Plus, and it may have just been my luck, but I find much better people to play with on Xbox. When I played on Playstation, I ended up in too many lobbies with either kids or people who spouted off the N-word nonstop. Not a huge deal since I could mute them, but I find I don't have to do that on Xbox, even when playing the same games.

The intro song to my favorite OST, written by my favorite composer, Yasunori Mitsuda.

Chrono Cross - Time's Scar

Also, you should watch this. It's wonderful, and it's comprised of the above track, a piece from Naruto, and even throw's in a bit of Yuna's theme from FFX.

Playing Nier Automata currently, and it's got an amazing soundtrack. Usually I prefer instrumental tracks in games, but the vocal versions are the best in Nier Automata.

Amusement Park:

Rays of Light:

Forest Kingdom:

Mourning:

Memories of Dust:

Damn, hearing these makes me even more sad that the game won't be getting an XB1 release. :-(

Anyway, here's my first submission. Technically, it's three songs in one, where the third song is actually the first two overlapped (making it quite an awesome ending theme for the game).

TopicWhy do Athiests think its okay to celebrate Christmas?
KLOUDrocks

We live in a day and age where Christmas is practically force-fed down our throats. The moment Thanksgiving hits, we're bombarded with Christmas deals and music and lights and movies and everything. In addition, many nations claim Christmas as a national holiday, so a majority of employees (and all students) are required to take the day off whether or not they're Christian. If you want to see Christmas celebrated by less non-Christians, then it might make more sense to not make it a mandatory day off for everyone. Instead, everyone should be granted a handful of days to take off as a holiday of their choosing or something (that would make it more fair for those of other faiths that need to request paid time off for their religious holidays anyway).

And, as already noted, many of today's traditions for Christmas have nothing to do with Christmas, but were rather taken from Pagan and other Anglo-Saxon rituals to help convert them to Christianity. Even the date has nothing to do with Jesus's birthday.

FYI, I went and celebrated Christmas with my friend's family, and his mother is very religious. If you respect others and share the holiday with people outside your faith, it goes a long way towards being the caring individual Jesus told you to be.

Or, y'know...we literally don't care who we play as. I've played games as a male character. I've played games as a female character. I've played as humans and orcs and aliens and creatures and animals. As long as the game's good, it really doesn't matter what the main character is.

Everybody's different; it really depends on how you feel about work. I know people who do anything and everything to get out of work and then complain about the hours that they do work. However, I myself enjoy going to work and almost prefer it over vacations (there's something to be said about comfort).

I currently work M-F 8am-4pm (though I usually end up in the office over 45 hours a week) in an IT management position and I'm also a part-time student with 6 hours of class a week plus all the homework involved with that. In addition, I practice and perform in a band and I also tutor (which adds another 10 hours of work or so per week). It's sometimes difficult making plans, but my evenings tend to still be free so that I can still maintain some sort of social life. I enjoy it and, if you like working, then you very well could too.

How the hell did you have evenings free with all of that??

My classes this last semester were only Monday and Wednesday evenings, 7 to 9:45. My band practices Saturday mornings and any performances we have are Friday or Saturday evenings (we perform maybe once a month...it's not a real job so much as it is a hobby). Tutoring fell directly after work on the days I didn't have class (T/Th, though I'd occasionally help out on Fridays and/or Saturdays too). That would only be from 4:30 to 6:30, give or take half an hour. So, T/Th I'd be free after 6 PM, and Fridays and Saturdays I'd be free if I didn't have a show. Sundays were pretty much open, though I tended to use those days to do all my homework and then relax.

They're my two favorite MCU movies, for sure, but I think the first movie wins. I enjoyed seeing how all the characters developed (I was, as most people were, unfamiliar with them until the movie came out). Drax's (unintentional) wordplay was fantastic, and that scene with Groot's smile towards the end was wonderful. I also get choked up every time I see the scene where Groot protects everyone at the end, whereas I don't get choked up at all watching the second movie.

The N64, possibly because of the nostalgia of it. My older brother had an NES, but the N64 was the first one that stayed in the living room and really felt like my younger brother's and my system. Plus, we still plug in the N64 now and then to play some of the original Smash Bros., and I still believe that Banjo-Kazooie is the best 3D platformer ever made. I won't even mention Perfect Dark or Diddy Kong Racing (oops...I just did). Pretty much, the system had Rare at its prime and, when mixed in with the rest of Nintendo's offerings and four-player splitscreen, it's always sat atop the Nintendo console list for me.

Buddhism isn't a religion.

Buddhism is considered a nontheistic religion. It involves a variety of beliefs and spiritual practices, just like other religions. Also, the definition of religion is "a particular system of faith and worship", and does not require acknowledgement of any higher being.

But you are correct in stating that Buddhism has no god, if that's what you were implying.

I quickly realized how much of it was simply politics, and I had already been questioning my beliefs. Nowadays, I'm a non-believer. However, I consider myself agnostic. I lean towards atheist, as most agnostic people do, but who am I to say whether or not there is a being (or multiple beings) on a level higher than our own?

Voted Rogue One. Even though it's not part of the main series, I thought it was done incredibly well. K-2SO has been the best droid character, hands down. Donnie Yen's character was pretty badass. Plus, (and I guess this would be a minor spoiler if someone hasn't seen it yet), I like movies that don't end with the good guy winning, and though they technically completed their task, I'm not sure you could count it as a "happy ending".
