60s in southern California is cold. It's December 21st and today I was cold wearing my shorts and t-shirt. :(

Today was the first day in a long time i couldn't wear shorts. Also my phone is telling me it is 38 degrees out right now. That is way too unseasonably cold.

Gloves? The only time we wear gloves here is to catch a baseball.

When the high for the day is below 68 it is cold.

If it is currently below 65 degrees it is cold.

If it is below 60 degrees it is freezing and time to be inside unless you have to do otherwise.

Its a strange thing because i am much closer to cousins that are technically more distant. I know basically nothing of this cousin other than shes a drunk.

Btw i maintain worst thing about the prequels is that it takes star wars, which always had fantastic ground and space/air battles and neglects everything but the land portion(we get extra, extra lightsaber duels). Episode 1 tries but fails by throwing Anakin into the mix and making it super lame. Outside of that there are basically no major air or space moments of significance. Everything important happens on the ground.

Action sequences are the few things the prequels do partially right but even on that front they forgot half of what makes star wars star wars.

The sky has actually been blue here. The wind has actually been blowing so strongly a majority of the smoke is over the ocean so unless you are close to the fire the sky is clear. There is a faint smell of smoke but not much.
