eh, i wouldn't say it's terrible - it's not TPM or AotC bad. but it is bad and the ewoks are a huge part of this, yeah.

moreso than vader the character i think they screwed up was boba fett. giving him a stupid death at the beginning of the movie after hyping him up in ESB was unforgivable.

also, han didn't really have the swagger he did in the first two movies. that could be on harrison ford, though - in this movie he just didn't seem to care as much (maybe he got sick of the character by this time). i'm not as into han as most people so i can kinda overlook this, but that was pretty disappointing too.

I mean if you were to rewatch the movie and went in with this attitude you probably would think it sucks.

for one thing i can't imagine michael jordan's acting actually being good. as a kid you don't care about stuff like "how good is the acting?"

for another, the whole "let's have a movie with the looney tunes and michael jordan" thing just seems like a cheap attempt to make cash.

i'm sure the classic looney tunes cartoons would still hold up if i were to watch them today but space jam? eh, maybe, but i'm skeptical.

it has a 7.7 on IMDb right now, which is actually a damn good score (and higher than wonder woman's!). obviously this score will lower in the coming weeks but yeah, if this is any indication it should be a pretty decent movie.
