I often wonder which lifeforms in the Pokemon universe count as pokemon and can be caught with a pokeball or not. Everything from plants, ghosts, rocks, and pokemon that look similar to animals such as dogs and cats count. But could you catch a human in a pokeball? Does that mean that, if there is human trafficking in the pokemon universe, that's how they'd do it? This also bring into question how much sapience counts. What's the lower limit? Could you catch just a blade of grass? If not, how would the pokeball know what is catchable and what isn't? This means there is a specific scientific criterion for what counts and what doesn't as it would have had to have been programmed into the pokeball by its inventors.

My friend bought a macbook 2017 laptop from Best Buy 2 days ago. When she opened the box and stuff she found that the macbook itself was damaged

Here are the dents:


the seal is apparently opened a little bit here:


She also mentioned that there's a circle with a diagonal line across it like this when she start it up:


so she went back to Best Buy and couldn't return it and she went to the Apple Store also. They also couldn't let her return it.

But here's a thing, she can't really speak english that well so that's why I'm stepping in to help her out since she's my friend. I tried to understand what was the reason why these both stores couldn't let her return the macbook, and what I think I'm getting at is that they probably thought she damaged it herself but I don't think that's the sole reason.

I'm going with her this Friday to another Best Buy and Apple Store and do my best to communicate with the employees, so...what to expect?
