That's not a possible list, that's the confirmed list. It was shown on a JP livestream 2 days ago.

Rin and Hikage are not going to be in.

No. Kuroko lost her chance to be in the game to either Saten or Misaki, depending on how you look at it. Though the collab is specifically with Railgun T, which I believe Misaki was more relevant for than Kuroko, so I'm going to say she lost to Saten.

Blue Archive JP is getting a Railgun collab. Mikoto and Misaki as gacha units, and Saten as welfare.

So that's something to look forward to for NA in the future at least.

Question for Kafka build: Should I aim for attack or lightning damage? And will higher lightning damage mean higher shock damage, or is that calculated solely based off of the attack stat?
Lightning damage for planar sphere, attack for body and rope. Planar sphere is the only way to get elemental damage+, which makes it better to use when you can so you don't run into diminishing returns on attack.

As for DoT damage, the regular DoT caused by her follow-up/ult scales with damage+, but DoTs from breaking do not.

She did get nerfed a while back during beta, though I think the consensus was it made her damage more consistent in exchange for lowering the damage ceiling? More details are available here(space added due to GameFAQs word limits): https://www.reddit.com/r/HonkaiStarRail_leaks /comments/14e6q69/kafka_changes_dot_proc_on_skill_nerfed_dot_dmg_on/). Those changes have been known for about a month though. IMO, complaining about nerfs that happen during beta is kind of silly, unless they render the character completely unusable (which these don't).

If they're just talking about the light cone posted on social media, the CN version is the correct one, not the nerfed version that was accidentally posted on JP/EN sites.

It doesn't matter what the rate up was, if your last 5 star pull on a limited banner was a rate-up, it will take a maximum of 180 pulls (18 10-pulls) from that 5 star to get the next rate-up guaranteed. You just change Seele with Silver Wolf in my TL;DR.

To figure out the actual maximum, subtract the number of pulls you've made in a limited banner since the last 5 star you pulled (the History should go back 6 months I think?). So if you did 1 10 pull on SW after getting her to try for an upgrade, you have 170 pulls maximum until Kafka. If you did 50 pulls on SW without getting her, and stopped there, you have a maximum of 130 pulls until Kafka.

Since you're counting in 10-pulls, just divide the number by 10 and you can still do your game.

TL;DR:
Hard pity is a maximum of 90 pulls between 5 stars, and 180 between rate-ups. Subtract number of pulls since last banner 5 star from 180 to get maximum number of pulls if you don't pull from now until Kafka's banner starts.

Edit: I only mentioned Seele in my original example because that was the last 5 star I knew you pulled, since I didn't follow the Star Rail thread in CE at all.

Can someone explain how the Honkai pity system works though? It's not as simple as just X amount of pulls and you can get the character, right :<
  1. Every 90 pulls will guarantee a 5 star character. The rate for a 5 star starts increasing around 75 pulls These counts reset when you pull any 5 star (similar to FE Heroes gacha), but they also carry over between banners.
  2. When you pull a 5 star in the limited banner, if you've never pulled a 5 star character on any limited banner, or the last 5 star you pulled was the rate-up, you have a 50% chance that the 5 star is the rate-up, and a 50% chance that it is a 5 star from the standard pool.
  3. If the last 5 star you pulled from a limited banner was not the rate-up, then when you pull a 5 star it is guaranteed to be the rate-up character.
TL;DR: Assume that 180 pulls will be needed to get Kafka, if you haven't pulled in a limited banner since pulling Seele.
Rates are slightly different when pulling on the Lightcone banner, but I assume you're primarily interested in actually pulling Kafka.

UTC+8 is one of the Korean time zones (which makes sense as I believe the devs are Korean). Hawaii time is UTC-10 (at least in Honolulu, not sure if Hawaii has multiple time zones). If it is scheduled to be released 5/23 at 8 UTC+8, then Hawaii time for that should be 5/22 at 2pm, assuming I'm not doing bad math.

As for time zone complaining, at least they gave it in UTC+X format. UTC is the basis for every other time zone on Earth, so it's considerably more convenient than saying something like Korean Standard time (though UTC+8 isn't Korean Standard IIRC) and assuming people can figure it out from that.

My recommendations were based on what I know Cal has (i.e. free units + Himeko). Bronya is irrelevant because I'm pretty certain they don't have her, and supports aren't available for SU.

1) I don't have Asta leveled up, only the core four I mentioned and Himeko.
2) How do you sub out characters in the middle of a SU run? I never figured out how to do that.
Mentioned Asta mostly because she's a decent buffer, is Fire type, and everyone gets her. You could always consider raising her as part of your World 4 prep, otherwise probably just go for a double DPS comp with Dan and Himeko. I don't think leveling Asta should be too taxing on your resources, since you're not really rolling right now, unless you'd rather spend stamina farming other things (or you have someone else you'd rather raise instead).

Edit: My comp suggestion wasn't for you to try World 4 now, just as something to consider when you feel ready to tackle it.

As for swapping characters, once you've used the terminals in Respite rooms to download an additional character, you just use the Team option (the three person icon) to swap your formation, just like you would in the overworld. You just only have access to anyone you've downloaded for the current run.

I finally managed to complete world 3 of Simulated Universe with the default F2P core. I got really lucky on the way and got a benefit (can't remember if it was a blessing or a curio) that split incoming damage evenly across my whole team, so between that, the trailblazer's taunt, March 7th's shield, and Natasha's healing, I just went full turtle mode and eventually whittled the boss down. I nearly lost when I wasted my ults at the end of his phase 2 (not even knowing he had a phase 3 because I had never made it that far) but I managed to survive.

I'm not even going to touch world 4 until I can level my characters up more. I'm at TB Lv38, and I think you can unlock the next equilibrium at 40.
World 4 has a bunch of fire weak enemies from the looks of things, so you could probably run Fire TB/Nat/Asta/Himeko there and manage well enough, maybe download Dan for the boss to sub for Himeko, though I don't think that's really necessary.

I guess since I'm actually playing Star Rail, I should post my UID for people here: 603132872. Just tell me here if you add me, so that I know you aren't a random.

With that amount of pulls, I'd expect 1-2 copies at most (assuming you lose every 50/50 and get a relatively even distribution of rate-up 4 stars). 3-4 would be fairly lucky, 6 would be really lucky.

I'd say hold off, if only because you need 180 pulls to truly guarantee Silver Wolf, and we're not entirely sure what F2P income will look like for Star Rail since we haven't had any events yet.

Since I think the gacha mechanics are copied over from Genshin, yes the pity count should carry over. Just be aware that it isn't actually very easy to get a specific 4 star, even with rate-up. Every 10 pull you do you have to win a 50/50 to have the guaranteed 4 star pull be one of the rate-up characters (unless you lost the 50/50 on the last 10 pull), and then you have a 1 in 3 chance to actually get the 4 star you're pulling for with no pity mechanic.

Genshin has plenty of stories of people failing to pull the 4 star they want in large amounts of pulls. It's obviously still better than trying to get one of the 4 stars without rate-up, just potentially deceptive about how difficult it is.
