I still miss one of our dogs who died seven years ago

I can't even think about the time my cat is no more.
She's 16 and still in best form. But when she's gone one day part of me will too

Dogs expensive huh?

It's not about money.

It's about our jobs.
We both work full time. A dog would be left alone for like 6 hours every day.

Our cat just naps till one of us is home but a dog would be lonely and bark and cry all day and I don't want that

Would I win the lottery we'd quit our jobs and get a puppy

Probably in the same small town I'm currently living in.

But in a small house instead of our flat

And with a whole lot more merchandise and a dog

I wake up with them every morning

My mother left my dad after 30 years of marriage
She didn't feel appreciated enough I guess.

Met a guy on Facebook and cheated.
She moved to him almost immediately

Made my dad suicidal for a long time

They still are in contact though. In fact she is broke because my younger sister screwed her over with phone contracts and now she can't afford anything without my dad's help.
He bought her a car, a phone, medicine for her dogs several ten thousand euro.

The new guy doesn't know any of that

There had been an accident a few months ago where an ambulance couldn't get to a patient in time because activists had been blocking the streets. (with superglue on their hands to the ground)

A few weeks ago they blocked the biggest highway in Berlin. Also taking the chance for ambulances or firefighters to get through
