They really should have. I was even one of those suggesting it back then.

I but even 10 years ago I think it would have helped stem some user loss.
Unfortunately, the admins have never really cared about user loss. They are just happy filling their pockets on a dying website they were passionate about, as anyone would.

Neither admin was smart enough to combat user loss. They were only trained in their duties (community management, web development).

You could say Allen was paid the big salary so we wouldn't lose all our users, but it would have taken more than one or a few people to combat such a big loss. They needed to make video FAQs and quickly adapt the message boards to current standards.

TBQH, it's so weird, though, if college enrollment is really down so bad, why the fuck is getting into college more competitive than ever?
Because it's not down for the prototypical good colleges that have competitive admissions. It's down for schools which accept everyone and rely on a big pool for their yield. Any school with a low acceptance rate is not affected and, in fact, will probably be more of a commodity with the less people in college.

World of Warcraft. They created so many clones after, and games I loved (such as Star Wars Galaxies) changed to be like WoW.

I would reckon it would be a big improvement over volunteer, unpaid moderators.

I quite enjoyed tinkering with the settlements, and I liked the style of 3/NV already.

I worked out in HS for about 2 years, then took 10 years off, and have been lifting for 6ish years. It was definitely hard to get started again. I remember squatting and accidentally balancing the bar on my tailbone.
