I always feel like with games like this, the highest difficulty is the real game. Everything beneath is just powering your character, learning the basics and messing around.

it's challenging in that harder difficulties make the rhythm timing super tight. Where easy is the most lenient and very hard is the least lenient, requiring almost precise on beat timing for very hard. Other than that what changes is the enemy health going from low to high as well the stun meter doing the same (which doing enough stun provides openings to do damage). You also take more damage the higher the difficulty.

The usual stuff in terms of action based games.

its basically an arcadey, rhythm/beat em up, platformer type game

You go thru stages trying to complete objectives while fighting off enemies. You also have assist characters as you progress through the game to help in exploration/platforming and combat.

The timing for the rhythm can take a little bit to get used to, but there are ways the game helps you to attack or move to the beat Via a metronome, character animations, and stage animations, they all move to the beat.

Rhythm affects all aspects of the game and while you can play off rhythm, you are rewarded more with either more damage or better timing, (i actually forgot but things are better on rhythm than not)

What a weird, asshole move. I've always assumed little-to-none of a stand-up comic's stories are true, they're doing a bit. Why would it matter if he's making it up? He's not testifying in court, he's making people laugh at a club.

Edit: Okay, I looked up a little more and apparently they're both shitty. The New Yorker didn't properly vet things (I assume that's what he brought receipts for), but he's also making up shit that's used for serious beats and not jokes. Like having to take his daughter to the hospital because she was exposed to anthrax that someone sent to them as a hate crime. Like he wasn't just making up stories for jokes, he was victimizing himself for sympathy.

Its just weird for the new yorker to pick on one specific comic for "fake stories". They also already cost this guy a job as a host of another show because of their story.

TLDR: The New Yorker wrote a hit piece on comic Hasan Minhaj cuz a writer "fact checked his stories" and said none of it was true. Other comedians like Whoopi goldberg stood up for him and said that comedians exaggerate or sometimes make stories up for their shows and its not out of the ordinary. Hasan then showed proof for some of his stories he told in his stand up and the new yorker hasn't responded.

i was in the same boat, I started my masters program the semester before the 2020 pandemic. I was originally supposed to graduate in 2021, but after a few deaths in the family, the inability to go physically in person for some required lab work (im in biology), and hating every class online. I almost did not want to finish it. But I'm so close to finishing it now I can see the finish line. It just sucked when a 2 year program got extended to 4 years for me cuz of a global pandemic and personal issues.

Other than just sticking to your potential degree, if you're not feeling it rn, maybe take a semester or 2 off, maybe forcing yourself to go to isn't working and you're feeling dragged down by it. The best time to take time off is usually spring semester cuz iirc for a lot of universities, they dont count summer as a semester you've taken off and if you take too many semesters off you'll have to reapply to the university.

The story is pretty simple and entertaining up until KH2 despite the spin offs that were harmless fun at best. unnecessary to follow the main games.

Then it just kind of jumped sharks with the rest. Introducing a crap ton of crappy new characters, lore, gimmicks and so on.

All culminating in KH3. A game the devs couldnt somehow finish despite all the development time they had.

they're all main games except coded (but it still had a canon ending). Also KH3 happens right after KHDDD

so no you cant just follow the "main" games.

you can tell who didnt play kingdom hearts besides when 1 & 2 when they say "besides the spinoffs".

The collections released on PS3 and PS4 had all the games in order and were all important to the plot.

Hitboxes in particular are good to avoid carpal tunnel from wrist/thumb movement, which was a lot of why they picked up. But they also have an advantage on some types of inputs, especially for charge characters. For example, if you want to do a Sonic Boom, you never let go of back, you just tap forward and the attack button, then let them go. There's no "lost time" in swaying a stick from one side to the other.

a lot of tourneys banned this, so to be tourney legal, the games or controller makers make it so that if you hold down or back, and at the same time press up/forward, it will just go to neutral state now. it will not read forward/up if both back/down are also being pressed at the same time.

SF6 this isn't possible now as an example, and tourney organizers probably retroactively apply that same rule set to older games now too.

i own a hitbox but still dont like doing gief stuff with hitbox. just my opinion. I'm capable of doing 360's in practice but dont like it so much in real play. With that being said tho i enjoy for it a lot of games like tekken and sf (besides anything to do with gief and 360 motions lol)

I saw Paul McCartney at a grocery store in Los Angeles yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didnt want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.
The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like Sir, you need to pay for those first. At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually to prevent any electrical infetterence, and then turned around and winked at me. I dont even think thats a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.
