I haven't seen Army of the Dead, but I agree with this. 300 (and Dawn of the Dead to an extent) was the perfect movie for his style, where every scene was supposed to be pulp, over the top, larger than life action and drama.

Everything good about Watchmen were just things directly from the source material that he didn't mess up. A couple episodes of the recent HBO TV show captured the feel and the emotion of the comic waaaaaaay better than the movie did. Note I said a couple episodes, because overall the show had a lot of problems too.

Snyder is great for a simple beat em up super hero story where the heroes are good and the villains are evil, which is why the Justice League Snyder Cut is a fun movie. Compare that to Batman v Superman with a much more complex and emotional story, and we get an absolute garbage heap of a movie.

For a while I have thought Trump stood no chance in the rematch, but as more time passes I think 2024 will look a lot more like the 2016 election than 2020. 2020 had a massive voter turnout compared to 2016, and Trump just needs a few percent of Dems to stay home in 2024 to win. I don't think they are as fired up to keep the current status quo and the 80 year old in office

It is a decent tool if someone needs help sticking to their diet. Having the "I can ONLY eat during this window" is a pretty good motivator to get rid of snacking.

Are we talking Majin Buu regeneration? He doesn't use any energy to regenerate, and your pain tolerance will go up as you get blown to pieces more and more.

I agree w/ making dash dancing a little easier and more useful to make footsies better, Falcon especially is really awkward to control because his turn around and initial dash animations are so slow. We can already use any attack out of dash though, doesn't that cover most of what normal wave dashing allows in Melee? (Not including ledge dash or wave landing, those are way better in Melee.)

Some more rumors swirling on IGN and other places that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be coming out Holiday 2024, and Sakurai hinting in his most recent video that Smash is too important for Nintendo to not make another one and he can't imagine himself not being involved... maybe we get a new Smash next year?

I'm not really sure what I want though, I am way more satisfied w/ Ultimate than I was with Smash 4, and even with Steve it is the most balanced Smash game character wise. Maybe Sakurai goes the Mario Kart 8 route and does Ultimate Deluxe? Change a few minor annoying things about the gameplay, some character balancing, and add in a few new characters? Add in a bunch of single player content like a much more in depth World of Light 2?

Obviously the biggest hope is w/ more powerful hardware, we can get a more robust online system w/ rollback, new and improved ranked mode, better Battle Arena mode (add squad strike, best of 3 option, etc)

That's what you would think the show is about, and it is a great premise for a super hero spy thriller. But they actually don't do shit with it, there is really no mystery or paranoia on who has been compromised. Just all very boring and nothing really happens.

Top 8 for smash factor x just started lol No American players made top 8.

To be fair there were only a couple top USA players there, but they did get upset. Great tournament though, Sparg0 is so fun to watch, and Sonix punish game is incredible, the only Sonic player I like

As a big fan of the books, I loved the show, really captured all the things that made the first few seasons of Game of Thrones so good.

I was a little worried general audiences wouldn't like it, because this first season covers a lot of background, lots of characters, and has a couple big time jumps, but looks like they didn't mind at all.

I am super hyped for the upcoming seasons, season 1 is basically just a prologue for the big event they are adapting from the books, I can't wait to see how awesome the actual conflict is.

Having the ending be a conversation was extremely disappointing for me on my first playthrough too, but I have come to really enjoy the story in KOTOR 2

It does look a lot more polished than the first one, hopefully that will help it stick around a little longer this time

I might be able to play tonight too. I am in a similar situation, in a new house now and don't have the ethernet network up and running yet. The previous owner set up a whole ethernet system connecting every room, but I can't figure out how to get the damn plugs working lol need to call the Geek Squad
