Nah, the DC version of Spiderman is Black Spider. He's a villain, but he's quipy and great.

Also actually voiced by Josh Keaton, aka the best cartoon spiderman. Really is a shame that spectacular spiderman was canceled. Should have gone on for 5 more seasons.

Salt and Pepper are not seasoning!

I know there have been tons of jokes about "bland caucasian cooking" but it is a wonder how rare spices like paprika, cumin, garlic powder and onion powder are used, to name some very basic ones.

Ctrl + F "his name is actually Static!" not found.

Wow this is not the CE I remember.

I'm honestly surprised DC didn't just change his name to static shock based on how many of us call him that. Especially since it's not like he was a legacy character or anything, he was literally introduced in 93 he's younger than even harley quinn.

Yeah I didn't like it. Watched it with someone who I used to know.

That being said, I don't mind the idea of like a trailer trash heist movie. I actually wanted to see that one with Zack Galifianakis but I never got around to it.

And I didn't really get why they'd get one of the most prominent British actors of his day doing a drawn out, exaggerated southern drawl, it's distracting and silly. Haven't seen Knives Out or Glass Onion, but I'm glad it seems to be a better fit than in Logan Lucky. Mid movie at best, really didn't like it very much.

Ah trailer trash, that's the word I was looking for.

You have to watch Knives Out, it's one of the best movies of the last decade and the best murder mystery movie of the 21st century easily. It's like they took an Agatha Christie novel and adapted it for the modern age, better than any of the actual adaptations of her works.

I was confused by the cameos. Couldn't understand why Sebastian Stan was in this or what was the point of his racecar driver character. And they introduce Hilary Swank the FBI agent in literally the last 20 minutes of the movie which is so confusing to the point where I'm wondering if it was meant to be a sequel hook like the final scene of Oceans 11.

But holy crap I had no idea it was by the Ocean's 11 guy. Also more holy crap that director has huge range, from comedy like oceans to more serious like Erin brockovitch to Contagion.

Should have suspected after he had the characters in the movie call the heist "Ocean's 7-11" in-universe.

So the Ocean's movies exist in the universe of the movie... that is directed by the guy who's directing this?

Yet another movie about poor white people rednecks that pull off a heist to get money because they've been "wronged" somehow oh poor them. After hell or high water I've had my fill of these movies, the characters are not sympathetic or compelling or likable at all. Hell or High Water was already discount No Country For Old Men without the deconstruction advantage, and this movie is like a discount of a discount. No getting caught, they steal the money and get off scot-free and I'm not really rooting for them.

I liked Daniel Craig though. Finally figured out where Daniel Craig got his southern drawl idea for Knives Out. He started doing it in Logan Lucky and must have enjoyed it so much he just fine tuned it for Knives Out. So that's one good thing this movie gave us.

I'm honestly not sure why the critic RT score is so high, the audience score is reasonably lower. Feels like I have to be from the south to enjoy the movie, from the whole nascar thing to the southerner redneck daily life to the little girl pageantry.

I remember that show. CW was trying hard to capitalize on the Smallville craze back then

That's the thing, this was the cringe era of the 2000s where they were sort of ashamed of being comic book characters, so they almost never dressed up the characters in their suits and instead had them wear a lot of leather that was vaguely color matching to their costume. Like a lot of leather.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/c/c3/JusticeLeague.jpg

Anyway this was an odd property to pick because young me definitely didn't even know it was a Batman/DC property at the time, it honestly felt like a fever dream watching it because it was sort of comic book characters, but also not?

I still love the Hannibal Buress wasn't actually in "Tag" meme:

Are we sure Hannibal Buress was actually in "Tag"?

I watched "Tag". I liked it a lot. A couple of my friends recently told me their conspiracy theory that Hannibal Buress wasn't actually in "Tag". They sold me.
Here's the gist. They are completely convinced that the entire movie had been shot without Hannibal Buress. Their guess is that early studio reactions and test audience screenings were poor, because of lack of diversity and not enough humor - so they hired Hannibal Buress and shoehorned him into the movie after the fact using a mixture of greenscreen, standalone reaction shots, and a few reshoots featuring the entire cast.
In watching the movie, they couldn't help but notice that Hannibal often isn't in the mix with the rest of the cast or is off to the side in some shots almost like he's been digitally added. The movie frequently cuts away to him to give off-kilter one-liners seemingly tagged on after the fact. It almost seems like his character serves no real purpose to the plot as it mostly revolves around Jeremy Renner, Jake Johnson, Ed Helms and Jon Hamm.
Granted, Hannibal is probably the best part of the movie so if this mischief actually took place, it was worth it.
I've reached out to Hannibal for comment on Twitter and thus far have received no response.
TL;DR: Hannibal Buress isn't actually in "Tag"

https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/97o6f8/are_we_sure_hannibal_buress_was_actually_in_tag/

Holy crap. As I was rewatching the movie that was literally what I thought when they showed his first scene at the therapist. I was like "wait, that guy was in the movie?"

I completely forgot about him because yeah, when I remember the movie I only think of Jon Hamm, Jeremey Renner, Jake Johnson and Ed Helms, along with the girls like the reporter and isla fisher.

But to be fair I also momentarily forgot Rashida Jones plays a love interest so. That was a pleasant surprise to see her again.

Columbo was brilliant in that the first handful of minutes spoiled the whole thing, yet we'd watch it all anyway.

It's a large part of the reason why I dismiss "OMG SPOILERS!!!" freakouts. If it's ruined because of whatever got spoiled, then the rest of it is just a waste of time anyway.

Yeah no, this makes no sense whatsoever because that's not what a spoiler is. Columbo was never a whodunnit, the whole point of why the show was unique in that it's more of a howdunit, or rather what mistake the murderers made to allow Columbo to catch them.

By your logic Batman being bruce wayne is a spoiler that the batman movies reveal early in the film.
