Thats an interesting point. When Ive taken hallucinogens I do see strong visuals.

I dont think I have this, but when I hear other people describe how vividly they can imagine things, or how vividly they daydream, or how a movie plays while they read, etc I definitely dont have that happen. If were talking about a boat, I think about a boat; Im not literally picturing a boat.

same thing with the inner monologue. I dont have full conversations with myself, but I do think about what Im going to say and what Im going to do. Its not like Im working just on lizard brain lol But Im not narrating my life to myself.

This one definitely is. The assistant principal was super upfront with me about this. They have a year to year retention rate of 30% for teachers, and they are super strict about following all their rules. She let me sit in on a class and their day is highly structured. Any deviation from the exact plan admin sets is grounds for reprimand.

Got a call back today about a job I applied for a while ago to be an 8th grade science teacher (but, I may have to teach math instead, because theyre low on math teachers).

Its a charter school with a lot of silly rules and structures I dont like or agree with (both for the students and for the staff), but its also a job that pays more than my last one.

The drive here was beautiful.

Also I went to a local restaurant yesterday and they had a bunch of OK stuff - college banners, Neon Sooner State signs, etc. I was amused at how much stuff had the state shape on it. I know Texans love to have the Texas shape on everything, but i dont know Ive even been somewhere else with such shape pride. Maybe it was just this one eatery lol.

Whats crazy is that I was back there in January for a family reunion and there are weed dispensaries fucking EVERYWHERE. I dont know how that state went nuts with it.

I did not know weed was legal here. Might have to stop by a dispensary. Ive never legally purchased cannabis before.

I've been to 33 states and Oklahoma isn't one of them. I'm curious how it is although not optimistic. I bet you can find enough entertainment for a week though.

My next trip is to my parents near Gatlinburg. I do that every year. They live off a lake so we just smoke weed and kayak and float for a week.

After that I have a chunk of time blocked off in September but haven't figured out plans yet. I might wait to see what the eagles schedule looks like. I'd like to travel to an away game and explore that city.

My last trip was Memphis. I got other family and friends there. We had a super bowl party and went to a grizzlies game. And ate a lot of bbq

This is the 9th state Ive gone to, not counting a few Ive just driven through or been in an airport of. Its not necessarily a goal of line to visit all 50, but I certainly wouldnt turn down the opportunity :)

Those all sound like fun trips! Do you usually travel alone? As much as I love my SO and my friends, I sometimes wish I got to explore cities on my own. I did a study abroad in college where I didnt have any friends, but being able to do anything I wanted without consideration of others was so nice. (I do love being with people I love though, dont get me wrong! Making memories with family and friends is great)

Cool! I grew up near a national park and it was beautiful. Really took it for granted as a kid, and miss having something so nice to me now. Im like 2 hours away from the nearest national or state park worth going to.

That show sounds like its going to be sick! I have tickets to see MM and Weezer in Dallas next month, but I think I might end up having to sell them :/ my gf wont be able to make it, and Im not sure I want to drive there alone.

I was also supposed to visit a friend in San Diego in July, but those plans havent solidified. I dont think theyll end up happening because Im low of fun funds, but I do hope I get to go soon. Heres one of my besties and speaks really highly about the area. Were also planning to go to Tijuana so thats exciting.

Aww thats ok. Ive been doing a lot of small trips this year but its honestly so expensive and often stressful that I might have been better off just saving all that money for one big trip next year.
