I wouldn't say there's any one property that you NEED to buy first, but each business has different missions or side activities attached to them so it depends on what you'd want to do. The houses/apartments are just extra save points.

There are guns and body armor stashed all over the map, I'd recommend pulling up an interactive map like this one.

It's because we've all spent too much time on GameFAQs to buy into the "I'm new here" lie that they try literally every time and pointing out their user level, account age, karma, or badge count is an easy way to expose an already obvious alt.

Or you could just ignore their existence and not feed them, because doing the above gives them the attention they desperately crave.

But again, this is CE and CE LOVES to feed.

I've never been a fan of the topics, even back when they were still confined to generals. CE obsesses way too much over another user's level when it really shouldn't be their concern. It's a great series of topics to feed trolls and people starved for attention, which CE loves to do.

Better to just gut the PvE aspect than release one that is a quarter assed.

But they still released one... that wasn't that great.

Gutting the PvE (which was the whole justification for Overwatch getting a sequel), the ridiculously shady microtransactions they put in, and there's also a sizable portion of negative reviews coming from China because they took away the game/their accounts for a time.

They didn't call in time to get the triple offer.
