he looks overweight and seems to wear lifts in his shoes making his posture odd. combine that with his hair and skin tone and it seems his vanity is something he holds dear. with the harsh lighting and angle of mugshots it would be an chip away at that vanity

Act 3 is about as long as act 1 if not longer. You spend a lot of time at max level, I think Larian was very intentionally trying to avoid the problem of your build being finished but the game ending before you can enjoy it.

i just did some stuff in the grymforge (killed nere), not even fully completed it and i'm sitting around 50 hours on this character. i might just be going a bit slow, opening every single container to loot, exploring and talking to almost everyone for quests and stuff

You are, but currently there is a bug that lets you stack the extra attack you get from pally and the extra attack you get from warlock pact of the blade, which lets you make 3 attacks per round. That is far, far better than any feat you can take. If and when this bug gets fixed you might consider going 8/4 pally lock depending on if you value the feat more than you do lvl 3 lock spells.

dang that does sound way more powerful than a feat. haven't really touched warlock at all but can you make weapons you find into pact weapons and they keep their extra stuff? from the gith creche i've got the blood of lathander so i don't know if it would lose it's abilities when you make it a pact weapon

if you go 7/5 or 6/6 aren't you losing out on the feat at 8? i've only just gotten to level 7 on my paladin and it would be weird to be that close to a feat, unless there's something at 5 or 6 warlock that would beat it

Because the military industrial complex owns the government. Making weapons is highly profitable and feeding people is not. Everything else is window dressing.

taking care of people would be profitable, since people would have more money to spend it on stuff. it would just take time and not have an instant benefit to just a few big companies. plus, they'd have to share the profits rather than keep it all

just went through part of the underdark and did the grymforge, had gale with me and made two of the fights super easy. in the underdark, when i fought the duergar, one of them tried to raise some dead. gale was in position to counterspell and prevent 4 undead from joining. easy to take out the two with my party. in the fight in the grymforge, i got the duergar on my side to take down nere. at the beginning of the fight, nere tried to use a charm type spell on a duergar, again counterspelled by gale. the sergeant went down easily because i crit with my paladin so of course i divine smite and she just exploded

counterspell is super powerful

considering the low resolution camera and harsh lighting i'm thinking it's going to be pretty terrible looking

Welcome to DnD. Clerics have been ridiculously OP since like the 90's. Their iteration in BG3 is pretty tame compared to BG 1 and 2.

i think the trickery domain isn't that good in BG3. the duplicate can be targeted and destroyed easily, and i think can't move. it never stays alive long enough because it gets targeted by everyone and downed quickly, since it has to be pretty close to the enemies. i respec'd shadowheart into tempest since i found a bunch of electricity equipment and so far she's been pretty good

keifer did as good of a job as possible with the extremely limited script for MGSV. i think it was the weird writing and not letting snake talk that really messed the character up. like UnfairRepresent said, having skullface finish his huge monologue and snake just sits there doing nothing really felt dumb, i thought there was a glitch since usually everything is decently planned out in MGS games

i wonder what the reaction would be if the truth was revealed about venom snake, and when you flashback to the intro then the real big boss is voiced by hayter for the rest of the game. maybe even a further reveal that ground zeroes is venom snake finishing up the "training" to be big boss
