It's more like if a game was only released on the 360 internet store, you can't buy it anymore and it's lost to time. Most games that dont have a physical version dont have one because that would have been an unreasonable ask. Digital-only storefronts, especially in the 00s, allowed so many more games to be released than would ever be possible if every game needed a physical copy. This entire situation is not an argument for or against either physical or digital. If we have the technology to literally reconfigure our matter onto the other side of a teleporter, theoretically we could also have the technology to just scan the configuration and clone ourselves. If it was proven safe most likely. Being able to teleport to any location instead of needing to drive/fly/walk/etc there would be too huge a deal not to.
