His games are usually polished and fun, but more often than not I end up missing the story especially. I never finished SMG2 just because there were like, no characters to get attached to. Felt like a downgrade even though ostensibly the gameplay was an improvement in most ways. Shin Megami Tensei came way earlier, and you recruit demons, evolve some of them, and fuse them together to make bigger badder demons, then you make them fight for you. Pokmon is the same thing but with dorky baby monsters instead of cool demons.
