This guy is a conservative? I never heard anything about this stuff until now. I disliked his persona and never was a fan of his, but I was honestly more surprised to hear about the conservative stuff than the other stuff.

The whole point of the vaccine isn't to prevent people getting it, it was to lessen the symptoms, so our medical systems don't get overloaded.

At this point while people still get it, we're not in danger of the same issues when the pandemic started. People who get their yearly boosters will be innoculated, and the people who are antifax risk getting their darwin award.

barely. they weren't really with the pandemic but did bring back a couple good things on their menu for $2. but then they have stuff like the XL grilled cheese burrito for like $8. most of their main items are like $5 or so now.

I see that happening with Gamepass. Turn it on for a couple months, play the shit out of it and then cancel and wait to repeat the process. They dont want that. I can guarantee they bank on people never canceling for periods of time.

the time investment in a video game is way different from binging season 4 of the office, they're not comparable imo, you're much likely to keep a sub going if you're midway through 3 or 4 different games

I've been playing it and there are a lot of issues with the game and isn't the great big deal that people are making it out to be. I'm even playing it on xbox. Its a fun game but it feels dated.

That's why I said "generally", but you would be flat out incorrect if you denied there was a massive hate campaign run by sony fanboys across the gaming space as soon as they heard it wasn't coming out on the PS5 at release.

That's not the gotcha you think if Xbox wasn't selling great on Amazon to begin with. Rather than percent increases one would need to look at the total units sold.

Like the base console is still ranked below a JRPG remake collector's edition for it, which I can't imagine is moving any massive number of units considering how small the JRPG market on Xbox is.

microsoft's whole strategety isn't even console focused. The console is just a vector to getting people into the gamepass ecosystem who don't want/can't afford a gaming pc. Just like how they were planning on coming out with a streaming console, it's just to get more people subbed to gamepass.

I'm pretty sure the last time I see my sister will be at our grandmother's funeral. Our parents did a fantastic job sabotaging our relationship while we were growing up, we're pretty much just strangers to each other and I don't think either of had any desire to start one.
