He always wanted to make films, has made films since he was a child.

AVGN was a side project that took off. But films always was and still is his passion. He really doesn't play games all that much.

It's not like he made AVGN so he could make a film tho.

From the video, it seems like Mike was the video game guy, who would tell James about the history of the games/consoles featured on the show.

Like no, you're just remembering something wrong. Almost all the shit you're talking about is when you were 8 years old and now you're like 30 or older. This shit was over 20 years ago. I don't think even 3% of Americans have a reliable enough memory for something that long ago.

As a kid growing up in the 80's, I loved the show Battle of the Planets. Seeing a Tatsunoku vs Capcom machine (and finding out it even existed) blew my mind. Never had a Wii, so that was only experience playing it.

Battle of the Planets was a lot of 80s kids' first exposure to anime, from my understanding.

Honestly hes not great as a DNC chairman. Hems not terrible but he definitely runs from a fight.

He was the guy that won against Pete Buttigieg who I think would have been phenomenal in that role. In hindsight thats probably why he ran for president; to build name recognition nationally.

Its not stupid if it causes you to throw away resources on an unwinnable state if it allows your better funded opponents to eek out a gerrymandered win elsewhere because you wasted your money.

Louisiana had a 2 term Democratic governor. It's winnable.
